They might not be very experienced but they have courage. Rimuru also showed some of his medical skills, not too shabby. It looks like this OVA also concludes the Freedom Academy outdoors training. Now bring on Season 2! |

| This was proly the best episode of this arc. Certainly wasn't expecting the sensei to make a pact with the demon to save the children, that caught me by surprise. Welp the test is over and Rimuru will go back to tempest. Hopefully we'll get to see the children someday soon. Time to wait for season 2, one more mnth to go. |

| In episode 4 they made the spectre fight appear to be something grandiose, but it kinda got resolved in some “cheap way” in my opinion. Also, how is it that a former S class teacher, and the “guide and watcher” for the S class, so bad at doing everything? Maybe it was explained prior, but I don’t feel like rewatching. I guess I’m a little disappointed with how this OVA final episode turned out, considering how much I like the build-up to this episode, but I guess the conflict’s resolve (although didn’t lead to any development) was nice. |

| That demon killed that monster in a brutal way. Now I'm interested in the relation between the demon and Shizue. And that's the end of this OVA. Now we'll have to wait a month for season two. |

| Not once but twice now they've gone and teased him. I'm not sure if the old Shizue story of encountering him and these past OVAs are original stories or were in the LN but they surely weren't adapted into the manga. This will at least give this demon character a tiny bit more background and build up for when he finally makes an appearance in the main series as I personally found his first appearance in the manga quite... out of no where. |

| THE FINALE EPISODE of Season 1's 5-parter OVA, and that concludes the Freedom Academy Training arc! Really going all-out with a good one. The kids under Rimuru's tutelage have done their best, and Tiss-sensei's decision was the wisest to save them through summoning. Yet, the Demon (in relation to Shizue AND A SECOND TEASING) has come back again to defeat the spectre. If this is more of an indication of just a payable debt to Shizue, then Season 2 will eventually reveal it all (to which I'm quite excited about). Great to see Rimuru back for a final hurrah for medical operation skills...and Great Sage too. With all that, it signals the end of the Freedom Academy training, and onto the next big thing (which is Season 2). Another month more to go, and awaiting the continuation of Tensei Slime. |

| I'm not a fan ofthose last 3 eps, first two were better imo. I guess I just never liked tha kids/academy part in original series. Tho scene was awesome. It was great seeing Slime again nonetheless. Now the wait for S2 continues... |
| The first OVA is just your standard ecchi-centric bonus episode. The second is better with a more balanced mix of what makes the series enjoyable to watch (still pretty ecchi-focused though). Then these last three are an extension of the student-focused arc in the main series... which was one of its notable low points. Fortunately things aren't as bad this time around, with the episodes bringing to mind the Dungeon Training excursion in Log Horizon. All in all a surprisingly watchable addition. Nothing to really go out of your way to see though. |

| I loved this OVA. This was a really fun watch. I also like how it had actual pertinent plot information with you-know-who. That's pretty cool, usually the OVAs are just pointless beach episodes or something. This had character and plot development. L O V E T H A T |

| Not gonna lie, after such terrible start with those first two episodes filled with lame fanservice, this last arc actually ended up redeeming this set of OVAs for me. Overall, pretty nice way to conclude this three-part story. The sudden appearance of Diablo to kill the Spectre was a really good twist and the conclusion with Rimuru saving the life of the count's wife was very heartwarming to see as well. |
| Well. The three-part-story was nice! And that mystery guy at the end (Diablo, I could tell immediately by his voice, oof) was super cool. And the happy ending was nice. Even if Rimuru didn't get his antique desk. The first two episodes were pretty MEH but the last three were pretty good :) |

| And that was it for our Tensura OVA. I do admit all five episodes are some pretty good appetizers, each bringing their own charm and appeal to the table. In this episode, the demon that appeared to Shizue before completely demolished the Specter to a pulp. Who knows how the Teacher will disclose the information to others but for now all of Rimuru's students are safe and sound. On the mansion, the Count learns of Rimuru's stock of healing potions and wants it to be used to his bedridden wife. Instead of using the Predator skill, our Slime instead performed an auto mode operation to treat the Count's wife. And even though they skipped, seeing the Count happy with his revitalized wife was sweet. That's it for the OVA of Tensura, watched it in one go and it was pretty good. Can't wait for Season 2, as an anime-only fan it's really interesting on where the story will go. |

| Didn't expect the demon dude to defeat the phantom, at least sensei did not have to pay a hefty price for it. Hopefully it's really goodbye to the freedom city, tempest city is just much more fun. |
| I liked the fight. Whole arc was cool. Lighthearted and entertaining adventure, hehe. All of OVAs were alright. They grasped that atmosphere known from the first season, showed something new and added some hype to people who are planning to watch the second season as well (aye, I plan watching it as well). |

The cultural festival comes later (maybe it’ll be the second half of S2). But it took two whole volumes of the LN to cover the planning and execution of the festival. |
| I thought Rimuru would blast in that cave from out of nowhere and beat the ever living shit out of that phantom ala Onizuka from gto but I like this outcome too, it's intriguing. And when he healed the Count's wife it was just heartwarming. This whole OVA especially this episode is very fulfilling for some reason. I'm glad I watched this before the second season. 7 |

| Ah, that kuro was the one that save the kids. Expecting Rimuru that came out of nowhere, its him, with a nonsense reason like summoning, and such. I mean, since when that teacher was a summoner, and she summoned that demon! Many hidden thing make this episode hard to believed. Guess i just considering it as usual ova and special then. Oh well! And here i thought there was no medical operation. Lmao. Nice analysis, Daikenja, even though some of her anylisis late, its still good to taught that noble a good lesson. Low 6/10. Thanks for the episodes 1 and 2. I was about to give 7 honestly. But, demon appearance really ruined the story that already connected well. Whatever. On to the next season! |

| Well the nice teacher accidentally promising her soul to the demon if she reveals his existence certainly won't come back to bite her later on in the worse possible way I'm sure I hope we see more of him though. This series is so lighthearted it's very refreshing when the tone shifts like that |

| I was expecting Rimuru to save them, didn't expect it would be Diablo. It's a welcome surprised though, Diablo badass as always. Jeff still fucking with Rimuru is a sign of friendship at this point. Nice of Rimuru to be able to treat the wife, even though there was a more simpler solution lmao. Overall that was a pretty nice 3 part OVA. On my way to season 2. |
