In this thread, you'll find a comprehensive list of Spring 2021 titles with an accompanying promotional video (PV), commercial (CM), or trailer. This post will be updated to include a PV, CM, or trailer for titles that are missing one, leading up to the start of the season. Titles that already have a video embedded will instead have their newly released videos added to the video tab in their respective entries. For convenience, the video tab can be accessed via the additional videos link next to the embedded video. If a title is missing a video, feel free to post it in this thread.
• Series are sorted by airing date of the first episode. Kids' series are not listed.
• One video of each anime has been selected and embedded under the accompany spoiler for an easy overview (except if the sources are not from YouTube).
Plenty to look forward to once again (remake, original, sequel - you name it), and I'll happily oblige. :D
Fumetsu no Anata e, SSSS.Dynazenon, Gokushufudou, Fruits Basket: Final Season & 86 are shows that I'm probably keeping a closer eye on though for the time being.
Blue Reflection Ray is the one I am looking forward to the most
Cute little lesbians holding hands on the cover. And I want my magical lesbians to kiss each other a million times,,,,,YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES
this spring looks awesome tbh
i will definitely watch :
-> Fumetsu no Anata e
-> Fruits Basket: The Final
-> Yuukoku no Moriarty 2nd Season
-> Tokyo Revengers
-> 86
-> Shadows House
-> Gokushufudou
Sequels this seasons are a bit weaker than last season but there's still a few nice ones, like Zombieland Saga, SSSS.Dynazenon, and Megalo Box.
There's a lot of interesting new anime that I'm looking forward to, at least try, tho. Looking forward to Fumetsu no Anata e, 86, Mashiro no Oto, Vivy, and Godzilla to name a few.
The only thing that particularly stands out is Megalo Box 2. I'll probably just lurk around the forums and see what people are saying is good if I'm going to choose anything else.
"...Is your mother worried? Would you like us to assign someone to worry your mother?"
Top 4 most hyped for me would be to your eternity, megalo box: nomad, 86 and Tokyo revengers (really hope 86 will be as good as it seems and gets the attention it deserves)
RobertBobert said: If I understand correctly, season of sequels, fantasy, isekai fantasy and shonens is again waiting for us?
Yea.I'm especially hyped for To your eternity and Tokyo revengers.

Well, personally, I don't mind, it just still seems very unusual after we could literally wait five or more years for a sequel to even a very hyped show.
Good, this szn looks a breather from all of the sequels that overwhelmed me. Glad to be scaling it back. I see only two that I’ll be watching so I can finally focus completing my plan to watch list

"I only studied a little bit of history and I have learned there are two current thoughts in human history. The opinion that there are things worth more than human life and the opinion that there is nothing preferable to life. When the war begins, it is on the pretext of the former type of people and it justify the latter when the war ends"
Lots of things I am looking forward to and going to check out in this spring season.
Out of sequels there is Megalo Box 2, Moriarty the Patriot, Fruits Basket Final Season and Zombieland Saga Revenge. Out of those I am most excited for Moriarty and Fruits Basket.
There is also a lot of new stuff that I am planning to watch. Can't wait for new Shaman King so I can experience my childhood again. Edens Zero looks like plenty of dumb fun, definitely watching that. Wit's new original, Vivy, also looks attractive - hopefully the writing is good. Fumetsu no Anata e is apparently a great manga and the anime certainly looks quite promising to me.
Never played TWEWY but it looks right up my alley with it's style and visuals. Nagatoro-san looks like a fun romcom and Mars Red has piqued my interest though I have no idea what to expect from it.
There are also three new mecha shows in this season (wow): SSSS.Dynanzenon, Godzilla and 86. Definitely watching all three. Seems like there is plenty of people hyped for 86 but if I have to be honest, to me it looks like another pretentious and soulless LN. Hopefully my impression is wrong and it is really as good as people say.
That's all the stuff I will be watching for sure. There are couple of shows that I might see if I am in the mood, like that TMS sports anime Kabaddi, Tokyo Revengers, Shadows House, and Dragon, Ie wo Kau.
Jouran: The Princess of Snow and Blood has got some pretty great visuals, hope that it succeeds... If not, I guess it will be another Akudama Drive, we will see.
I just finished watching all these pv's and I'm actually looking forward to spring. It seems like there will be a lot of misses sadly but there are also ones I'm interested in. jouran: the priness of snow and blood and Shadows house (I've read the manga for this) caught my eye. Also that burnout syndrome's opening for Mashiro no oto sounds soo good.
Yes, this season is absolutely stacked! I never had as many anime i wanted to watch in a single season before as i do in spring 2021!!!
I'm looking forward to all of these:
Fruits Basket: The Final(Still have to watch the second season though)
Shaman King (2021)(Definitely most hyped anime for me)
Edens Zero
Mars Red
Shadows House
Jouran: The Princess of Snow and Blood
Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song
Mashiro no Oto
Godzilla: S.P
Dragon, Ie wo Kau.
Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou Desu
Odd Taxi
Seven Knights Revolution: Eiyuu no Keishousha
Shikaru Neko
Iii Icecrin
Gokushufudou
Eden (ONA)
Anime i'm interested in but haven't yet watched their prequels, soo....:
Mairimashita! Iruma-kun
Yuukoku no Moriarty
Anime that looks slightly interesting but haven't really sold me yet:
Tokyo Revengers(Kinda only interested slightly because of the time travel theme.)
86
Blue Reflection Ray(If this is some yuri shit or overloaded with fanservice, i will lose all of my interest and definitely banish it in to the garbage bin!)
My Shoujo, Josei and Female targeted anime adaptations starting from 2017+ stacks:
Looking forward to 86 and Shadows House. Being a source reader of this, curious to how they adapt it especially 86 because its a LN. Which is harder to adapt than manga.
Other spring anime I anticipated are Nagatoro, 300yr slime, Fumetsu, and Shaman King remake
Once again those release dates are all over the place..>.>;
I follow AniChart's release dates since they show you the time they come out in real time up to the seconds they come out at all time, and they're more precise then here but I do remember when I had no choice but to use the dates from here as a reference for making my anime schedules (I didn't know about any other anime sites back then) so I still come and at least check these out when they release them~!^^'>
im so excited for 86 and How not to summon a demon lord, and also many other anime from this season seem nice, i hope that those seasonal anime won't dissapoint me c:
There's a few shows I'm kinda interested in, but the only one I'm actually going to be following seasonally for sure is TWEWY. Even if the earlier preview from all those months ago and what some fellow fans have said about the world premiere of the first episode earlier this week show that there's a very good chance that it will suck compared to the original game. I really don't want this to be another Ace Attorney disaster hahaha... I guess I will just hope that Takeharu Ishimoto doesn't disappoint with the music (or even brings some original tracks back) at the very least.

Hate to break to ya, but... this will not be your type of magical girl anime.
I have not played the game but I have looked into it... the original game is known for loads of fanservice and there does seem to be a few characters who are canonically lesbians. I have a feeling that the anime adaptation might remove most of said fanservice, which is why I will still give it a chance and try watching an episode or two, but yeah... sorry.

Just when I was planning to cut down my time spending on watching anime, I see this fully loaded line up! Wow, this is probably the only season where I have a lot to include in my TO WATCH LIST. Almost everything in the line up seems interesting! But we will see. And looking forward to what can this season offer!
