It wasn't great but it kept me going, and it wasn't an issekai or a harem or a moe. Plus it was funny watching the animation fall apart more and more towards the end-like watching a guy trying to drive a car with four blown out tires over the finish line :)

what the friggin' hell happened!?!?!?!?!?
that last scene before the ED rolls....meaning the events are just getting started!?
so based from the epilogue, the game starts on these particular events and the whole show was a gaiden!? hmmm seems legit...
this needs to have a continuation!
its not even open ended!

Anime series' story is prequel of game (15 years earlier), unfortunately game is ending soon.

I can understand Leo leaving behind Innumael considering the latter's state, but damn did he really forgot about Ben there. Well at least Ben saved the still alive Innumael out of that sealed city. I quite liked the fantasy military story despite is huge cliffhanger as its a prequel to the game. Definitely needed some better execution for its bad animation and some other stuff..

at first it was kind of upsetting that they didn't get to clear up the whole mixed up package ordeal in the first episode. but the fact that we didn't get it resolved with a nice little bow on top is actually nice directing/writing

i figured that mad scientist nutjob would escape when he started talking about a new mutation or whatever. i thought they said only women can turn into the one type of mutation? i'm also guessing the scientist stole that second purple/pink magic vile, too

i guess inumura is still alive. lol that they walk past that evil cunt dead monster commander at the end

EDIT: i thought the cradle was supposed to protect the new capitol from the light thing. but the only cradle we saw was to trap the current capitol within the cradle. that diet lady who took over the new capitol, is she working with the anti-imperialists? she just a power-hungry bitch who plotted this whole thing to overthrow the current ruler and become the ruler herself? is she a magician (idk wtf magicians even do lol)?

considering how things started in the first episode (really standard good guy vs bad guy - or are they not really the bad guy type stuff...a shootout in a canyon and all that), what a journey we went on in the next 11 episodes.

are the 3 of them who escaped the city the 3 main characters in the game? i have no clue, but i could see that being the case. or maybe the 2 guys inside the walls tasked with saving the baby? again, i have no clue. i like the possibilities, though

this was a good show. it was initially very mediocre, but i think i'm going to give it a 7/10 overall. the last half was pretty good. i just don't think it quite enthralled me enough. it came close. it tried. but i don't think it's an 8/10. 7.5ish? lol idk. i like the "story" of the anime a little more than the anime itself, if that makes sense
