| Looks the affects of the election ended up bringing some unpleasant memories for Minami. Considering how she's been competing with Aoi since middle school its not easy to give up that desire. Given that both were aces in their respective teams back then this only served to reinforce her desire to beat Aoi. Always aiming to be the best though is something thats within Aoi's nature i guess. Im glad that in the end that Minami was able to resolve her differences with Aoi. Fumiya's sudden question at the end though was just so hillarious. |

| This episode is centered to our energetic girl MIMIMI, and her character's deconstruction is not as deep as you think. The reason for her near breakdown was just a mere jealousy from Aoi, because she's always taking the first places and praise from almost everyone. Not realizing that Tomozaki, Tama, Aoi herself, and others DO care about her, even if she's flawed. Thank goodness it all worked in the end, because if she was untreated, she might go to Rika Kawai route and [REDACTED] herself. One thing also in this episode is that Aoi (obviously) is not dating with Mizusawa, and that made the girls crack up on Tomozaki's curious mind. All & all, not my favorite episode but it did resolve Mimimi's regret and attitude to her most respected person, Aoi Hinami. |

| Episode was mostly boring. Tomo could just get with blue or gray hair and call it a day. | Pretty good episode, what Mimimi was going through was pretty sad. I personally agree with Tomozaki that there's no need to be number 1. But people like Hinami and Nanami are admirable for their drive, though what Nanami was doing wasn't really healthy. Tama is just what she needed, she just needed to hear those words that she's actually number 1 to someone, which can really mean a lot to her. So, hopefully from now on she'll compete with Hinami in a healthy way. How the fuck is Hinami so perfect, I mean by all means she is not, but on the surface level she really seems to be so. That's honestly amazing and pretty scary, I am guessing she doesn't agree with Tomozaki's being number 1 is not everything ideal. Lmao at Tomozaki butchering his goal, at least he made the girls laugh. Can't wait for the Kikuchi date, looking forward to the next episode. |

| I didn't find this episode that interesting... there's been too much focus on Mimimi - a secondary character - whilst we still haven't really got to know Tomozaki beyond the basics. He hasn't had any development in a few eps which kinda stalls the plot imo. Another problem is that Hinami comes across as pretty unlikeable; there's nothing relatable about her, she's insincere in everything she does and I personally don't like the way she treats Tomozaki. It's nice of her to help him 'win life' but she does it in a way that's quite belittling, like every part of him is wrong. |

| Behind someone's cheerfulness, there are always something to hide. Not so different with Mimimimimi case, which had a huge backstory behind her, in case her rivality against Hinami. Its actually pretty big, not only touch the element of rivalry. Its also touch such a basic elements like a jealousy and full admiration which mixed up into one big feeling around Minami that time. As the time went by, Minami seemed unable to hold back anymore. She resigned the club and made her friends worry. Good thing as a fellow mate, and a big bro for Mimimimimi, Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun, decided a good thing to solved that cheerful girl problem. Simple, but quite emotional revolving such a cliche teen drama. The cycle of their teen lifes was real, and they should've known it from the beginning. However, there was no smoke if there was no fire around it. Once again, Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun got a good lesson behind the girls drama, and once again established a good relationship around them. Congratulations, and keep a low profile, Tomozaki-kun. Who knows whats that Hinami girl thinking at the next episode? Especially after that statement, can't wait for it.... |

| Kinda disappointed that there's no plot twist about mimimi after the end of ep7 saying that "she's not the same anymore". Thought she has another 180-degree personality and is hidden under her cheerfulness or something. |

And Bang! we get everybody’s motivation in one episode. For success in life: Aoi - be the best at EVERYTHING. Minami - be the best at SOMETHING. Tomozaki - be the best you can be. Tara - have one good friend, be one good friend. Fuuka - understand how it all works. Should be interesting to see how these ultimately play against each other, like we just saw with Aoi and Minami. |
| Minami fighting against Aoi is really motivating. Tired of always coming in second, Minami now wants to Cross Aoi. She tries hard! It was nice knowing the backstory of how Mimimi and Aoi met! The part were Mimimi cries stating she can't hate Aoi was touching. Looking forward for the next episode! |

| The drama is amazing for this episode. So yeah, even if Mimimi didn't reach first place, she's still shines brightly and everyone appreciate her effort. Well, I could say the doll at the end is still cute though. You better accept that fact, Tomozaki-kun XD |

| For me personally this was a very good episode, made me a bit emotional when Tama, Mimimi, and Tomozaki spoke. Tama's comforting her was really nice. If the show keeps this up, I'm actually going to be confused how to score this. It was a 7, but now that feels too low... let's just see how the rest of the episodes work out. |

| I love how this show develops its characters to a point where they feel as important as the main characters and can proc an emotional response. Tomozaki tried to fix things with Minami and only with Tama could things get fixed. I'm still not convinced things are fixed though. |

| Tama the real mvp this episode for cheering up best girl/'number one idiot' Mimimi at the cost of sexual harassment increasing by threefold. Tomozaki took quite the L there at the end by asking about Aoi and Mizusawa's relation but at least we got the truth out of it. |

| I feel for Mimimi but having for sole goal to be the no. 1 or nothing all the time is setting yourself for a lifetime of disappointment and low self-esteem. Also her coming back to the same club as Aoi does that mean she now no longer feels bad about constantly losing to her overnight? Tbh I doubt it and it feels like staying there and maintaining their relationship is gonna remain very unhealthy to her. |
| I really liked Mimimi’s arc but ofc I’m biased 😅 It got pretty serious in the end and I hope she can find something else to focus on rather than being number 1. After all there will always be someone better than you, so you have to learn to do things for yourself instead of always comparing yourself to others. |
