| I know this is a little bit stupid to ask, but why is the score so low at 6.67 (as of asking this question) ? The show has been great so far, the premise and plot looks a lot original, the animation looks stunning, and the OST is inspiring so far at least. Is it that some AOT fans are angry that their favourite anime is risked of being ignored by Mappa, while Mappa works on their original anime? I'm an AOT fan myself, but I like this anime too, so I could not help but wonder why is the score so low. Edit:- As of 21st of December 2020, the score is 7.20. It is climbing, and it is quite a good score. Hope it keeps going up. |

| I think more then a few people came in expecting a standard sports anime. It's not got that sort of tone you would expect though. It certainly threw me off guard at first (BB was really strange to swallow) and I can only assume a lot of people have scored it purely on a single episode and predetermined expectations. Edit: Looking at the reviews it seems some poor scores (because they couldn't get the anime) are the cause of the drop of overall rating. |

| This is good series, but I more interested in slice of life moments in this series than sport parts. Really liked that "parent day" episode or when Rei felt lonely or parts where Bigbird got sick, cried so hard during part when Rei said she can't ride a bicycle, because nobody taught her... ;( There is lot of interesting characters and I wish to see more episodes with them, well... this sport anime, so of course series focuses on gymnastics and I'm not really fan of it, but I wanted to give series a chance and I like it, just gymnastic moments isn't entertainment for me. I thought there will be nice gymnastics shots, but is all made in CGI and it doesn't feels like "natural movements", is just looks like robots doing all these tricks. I expected something better from studio who made "Yuri on Ice" -.- I'm not really fan of sports where judges give players points, same thing bother me in Yuri on Ice. I prefer sports where players earn points. This series doesn't get feels like in Haikyuu where you want cheer for team to get another point xD So I can't get into gymnastic. There are series when "sport" is more background part and series focused more on characters stories and relationships wish Taisou Zamurai was like this xD |

| Well, its pretty much a shame. But, i just don't care about the overall score here. If i enjoyed this, no one give a fuck about theirs. The same with the others too. So, yeah, scoring its just your own tastes, and you just enjoyed what you enjoy. |

Yeah, there's that, but even then, there's so many shows that are cringier (if that's a word fr) than Taisou Zamurai (eg. Kamisama ni natta hi) that have a significantly higher score than Taisou Zamurai. And tbh, I think the kinda cringe character(s) should not be the deciding factor whether a show is bad or not, especially when it has an original plot and great soundtrack. Yes, I am kinda disappointed with this anime coz I had hopes from it, but even then, this is still a 7/10 for me because of the originality it has. |

Thankfully 4th was the best so far and had a lot of screentime for Rei. This is what the show needs: impact of this carier on family, everyday struggle behind the scenes, slow build up to a succes based on correcting own mistakes and understanding own strenghts and shortcomings, bonding between father and daughter. Not some chuunibyou ninja wannabe gaijin that doesn't have any interest to be in this story. So yeah, I can easly see why some part of this result in overall low score, especially for anyone that dropped it during early episodes. |

| As a former sportsman/gymnastic I never liked sports anime, but when I saw the pv for this anime with Yokoyama's music, oh boi I could smell the magnesium carbonate! Nostalgia hit me like a truck, almost got isekaid. I was hyped for this original and after few episodes in the story was somewhat similar to one of our present gymnast, who's ailing with shoulder injury and treasures his daughter. Though the story started introducing characters like gyaru, self-proclaimed annoying ninja, annoying bird, a trans medician and whatsoever, giving these side characters much more highlight in the entire series than gymnastics was a disappointment. Also the CG movements where ugly too. The PV gave me too much hope for the series, there was more small character drama in it altogether than sports, that's why i gave a lower score. Though the 3 last episodes made that right, so I gave it a better score. |

| People should know at this point that MAL scores usually tell more about the average audience of show than about the show itself. This case was not "1/10 Bots", not a single trace of them in the score:  When mass vote on 1/10 happens, it become bigger than the neighbors 2/3/4s, always. I dont think the show is the best, but definitiely not as bad as 6.67, at least in my standards That is the real point. 7.0 is a fair score for this show. What happens with other show, more popular ones, is a huge mass of uncritical fans who blindly punch the click on 10/10, which they do to every other 18 shows they watched in the year. And its OK, since everybody in MAL is free to rate shows the way they preffer, of course. But we can be more more wise with time and understand how these scores are built differently to every kind of show and genre. |

| Don't worry fella, the show is rising fast after it finished. Most of it's run it was between 6.6 and 6.7. Now it's already at 7.2 and it keeps climbing high. |
