Good to see some sibling relationship and their bond in this show. And it seems those two are rather close in terms of a famial relationship. I do think this anime does a decent job at characterizing each of the main cast so far, with Kanata this week. |

Kanata came to that realisation just in time. Loved her performance today too. Hopefully it’s on Apple Music soon. Looking forward to Shizuku arc next week! |

| My most favorite Nijigasaki character's episode. Even she has quite low physical capabilities, but Kanata does her best. Doing house chores, works a part-time job, studying, and be a school idol altogether is a tough job. But all of them went well. It's not that easy to admit that her little is grown up and can do a lot of things herself, but Kanata can do that and can reconcile with her sister in the end. About the performance, she looks gorgeous in that dress. It makes her looks very different from normal sleepy Kanata. |

| Before I want to talk about this episode I want to go back Love Live! The School Idol Project first. There was this girl Nico, about I was not sure, if I like or hate her. All the time she was on the thin line between funny and pesky. Now we have Kasukasu Kasumi. Her episode was very early in this anime and my first impression of her was domething like "As funny as Nico, but a little bit more mature and this Kawaiko.thing fits better on her than on Nico. Then later we saw her envious side, and i thought, that is another funny perk on her. But today Kasumi tooked a running jump over this thin line between funny and pesky. At the half time of this episode, I only wanted to slap this attention snatching little brat! It was too much! But this episode was about Kanata and her sister Haruka. And even when I first thought, that this "visiting another High school Idol Club"-thing is kind of boring and stupid, I haf to confess, that this was absolutely wrong. It turned out, that Haruka took this visit not for curiosity but for caring for her big sister instead. And this little drama was played out well in the end. So all in all, this was a good episode. There should be just less Kasumin. Furthermore:  On the left is the N-girl Kasane Hasekura and on the right is the N-girl Christina! Next time we see Shizuku and I am very curious about her. Even after 7 episodes the only thing about her i know is beside the fact, that she actresses, that she has an angelic voice. And even this second point I know from sources outside the anime. |

For comparison, Ayumu, Kasumi, and Setsuna's solos are only just now releasing on CD/streaming. so Kanata's solo will take a while... I'm soooo looking forward to Shizuku next week!! | Great episode again, this episode made me like Kanata way more than I initially did. My original impression of her was that she was one of those low energy sleepy characters but it turns out she only gets tired out because of how hard she works and how many things she's trying to juggle between. I have newfound appreciation for her now. The sisters are cute together and it was nice seeing them decide to support each other instead of a one trying to protect the other scenario. The last scene with both of them was very cute. Performance was great as usual. I knew I recognized them, thanks for pointing it out. |

| Really good episode! I'm happy that Kanata has turned out to be good in this anime. At first, I wasn't so keen on her because I'm not a big fan of lazy girls in general, and Kanata looked like a pretty lazy idol to me, which reminded me of Anzu Futaba in Cinderella Girls. However, Kanata is actually way more likable because of how caring and selfless she is, and she gets to take care of her sister Haruka. Kanata actually cooks food for her, and they get along pretty well. The reason why Kanata gets to sleep alot is because she's actually been working hard, which made her sister worried. Personally, I don't blame them because they definitely love to help each other, which is what siblings are all about.  Kanata did a great performance at the end, and Akari Kito has done an incredible job voicing her. |

| She cook, she care, she work, but most importantly she loves to sleep. Always has been my favorite Niji girl from the start... although her songs (like here Butterfly) aren't that powerful like from other members. Well Haruka was already briefly introduced in SIFAS and in general before but seeing how deep their sisters relationship is just lovely. She reminds me a little bit of Yoshino (Honks little sister) So after LL Superstar we see the idol story of Haruka? |

| Good episode, I really like Kanata and her personality. Kanata is a good big sister, she cares about her sister and takes care of her. I liked her voice and her performance but the song wasn’t that good. |

| I wasn't actually too familiar with Kanata, so I'm glad they give her a legitimate reason as to why she's always sleepy. I thought it was just a random gimmick and/or she was lazy (something like Anzu from Cinderella Girls). Great song, and actually quite energetic considering her general mood. Kanata is a good big sis, and for me she climbed the ranks of top Niji girls. |

| I'm ashamed to say this, but despite playing SIFAS i didn't know her sleepyness was in fact, because she literally worked off really hard.. (probably because i haven't read any bond episode yet).. and thought it was just a simple sleepy character quirk. T^T I'm glad this episode explains it, and it definitely became one of the best ep for me! And we also get to hear 2 other N girls' voice! :D Next is Shizuku, my fave girl! Looking forward to it~ |

| Great episode! Kanata had always seem like a relaxed and easy going girl, the way she talks is soo soothing. She did come across as lazy with her laying around all the time sleeping. I was wondering what was up with that and glad to see I got an answer for why she sleeps at random moments of the day. I appreciate hard workers! The love between those siblings was so heartwarming, Family is a great thing! Kanata's performance was really nice and fitting for the mood as well. Good thing she convinced her little sister to not quit being a school idol. Next week it's Shizuku, she is still quite a mystery, don't know much about her at all and that after 7 episodes. Curious to find out! |

| What a lovely episode! Kanata and Haruka showed how great their relations were. What a sweet way to form a nice characterization to those sleeper girl xD. Actually not some usual sleeper girl. She was really a hardworking type of onee-chan for the sake of her one and only Haruka! Its really sweet! As i said before. They had a nice relations, pretty much a typical sweet, steady, and simple sisterhood relations. They both actually caring each others, and holding the same dream too with the school idol as their dreams. But they needed to understand each others better, especially Kanata. Because she was pretty much made her imouto worry like in the hell. Especially when Haruka was look at her pretty much tireful, when she visited Kanata's school idol activity. These episode show how Kanata finally understood the mistake toward her little sister, and made up her minds for the sake of preventing Haruka quitting her dream. Thats solo simply touched her heart, and mine. So, yeah, at the end, i am glad they both aggree to supported each others than before. Even those note from her mom surely relieved me. Its not just a one sided cares, but its a two side caring that works better as a combination within a beautiful relations of them. Nice episode! |

| This is probably my favorite episode so far (and if not, really up there). Although some of the episodes have felt like a bit of a miss thus far, I really like how they're actually trying to give us more insight into each character compared to the previous Love Live variants. It was already part of the reason I like the Niji girls the most in All Stars and the anime is adding further depth. Anyway, this one felt like it was executed pretty well! Kanata isn't my favorite, but I do like her. After this episode, I appreciate her even more. On another note, love how they included some of the N card characters from the SIF game. And speaking about N card characters, Shizuku hype next week! |

Lol About Kanata, is it me or not... but in this episode, she has an young adult vibe. Her attire is like housewife when at home. in stage performance, i feels that her costume are not cute or sexy, but beautiful. And i really like the song. Compare to her previous single, this one is the best! I hope lovelive! have episode about Shinonome Idol. Even just 1 episode, i dont mind. |

| Much better episode than the last couple, and probably one of the best musical performances of the series so far. However, even though we got to see an entirely different side to Kanata this episode, she's still a character I'm not overly fussed about. Decent, but not overly interesting to me even after all her development here. Shizuku's episode next week. Hopefully it will do enough for her to help me remember her name and existence, as she has not had any presence at all so far. |

| Bonds between siblings are such a precious thing~ Great episode overall. Kanata is such an admirable older sister and the fact of seeing her being so caring about her younger sister's sake honestly melts my heart. Especially now that we know the reason as for why she's so sleepy during club sessions. She has been doing her very best indeed. As for other aspects, the disagreement between Kanata and her sister was handled quite well in terms of drama and her performance at the end was truly impressive as well. Easily among my favorite ones from the show so far. |

| With this episode I can conclude something: Kasumi is very similar to Nico: Both thing they are the cutest of the group; both thinks they are the leader. When one is presenting themselves to a new person, cute mode is activated. Finally group leavea them alone while both are talking to the air. Talking about Kanata, she is reallt cute, now I know why she is always sleepy. |

| So the real reason behind the drowsiness is out and it was wonderful! My utmost respect for the sisters. I like how the show didn't get too cliched in handling this too. Beautiful performance there, too. Easily my favourite episode of the show so far! |

| I just rewatched this episode and want to highlight some things, I just realised First of all in the teaser (the first scene before the intro) is in a sneaky way the real problem of this episode mentioned. Haruka awakens earlier than usual and offers Kanata to help her. But Kanata refuses in her caring way. And it ist Yuu, who get straight to the point and calls Kanatas (not Harukas) problem clearly. So we can hope, that this is still enough to resolve this problem? In the last scene before the outro we see, that Kanata is still struggling with her attitude. Haruka has some problem with cooking? The meal is not in shape? Kanata want to take the bad try. It is again her habit to protect Haruka. Possibly I am overinterpreting, But again in the teaser, Kanata is telling her situation and how she likes Haruka. Most important is to mention, that she is telling about herself. This ends when Haruka asks: "Okaasan ha?" In german sub it is tranlated as "Wo ist Mutter?" ("Where is mother?"), which is absolutely a good translation regarding the following conversation. But grammatically it happens here something special. Haruka is defining the topic. It is the mother (Okaasan) , who is the topic of this conversation. And I think this is by design ending Kanatas telling about her self. In this way there is made a connection between her and her caring, motherly role to Haruka. And last, I want to mention the song text. I heard this time the words "haruka kanata" And Love Live wiki did confirm this. The whole line sounds "Butterfly hane o hirogetara Haruka kanata takaku tobou". |

| Didn't like this episode too much even though I liked Kanata more back in LLSIF. Whole sister drama felt awfully unconvincing and overdone and even the song/choreography wasn't a good one. Both girls are mostly fine but if they just capitalized on Kanata sleeping habit without overdramatizing it, it would be a much better for her character. I'm sorry to say this but you are really overthinking it. In Japanese, は is used not exactly to define previous topic but to change it during the conversation. She saw her eating so she logically asked if they shouldn't wait for their mom to join them. It's basically open ended question "What about...?" Similiarly, if she used が (ga) she would be asking about the object of the action, meaning "Mother did that...?" or something similiar. Also, the intro was set during the evening, her mom is taking night shifts (夜勤 yakin) so she sleeps during the day, leaves before the evening and comes back before the morning. That's why they had her message on the table in the end. The lyrics basically means, "As butterfly spreads its wings, I can fly high (into the sky)". I say 'I' but in dialogues, Kanata is speaking in third person about herself (calling her name literally) which is how small girls calls themselves and it's ususally seen as very immature and quaint. But it is also used to act cutesy, the way Kasumin is using it IIRC. In case of Kanata, it's probably meant to imply her laid-back way of speech and attitude. |
