| I'm surprised Ougan Bat has been so poorly treated seeing how great Japan usually takes great care of their historical works, next to nothing of the franchise should be lost media and it seems like it remembered elsewhere than in Japan. |

It is a sensitive topic due to Japan's imperialist past. Eg Tank Tankuro was also influential being one of the first robot superheroes but was shoved aside after the war. It's a shame too, Ougan Bat looks decent for such an early anime. |
