| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yup, the lengths an individual goes to protect what they treasure... The rain scenes were pretty intense. It seems they are raising the stakes yet again in this arc. Even the music choice made the episode feel kinda impactful. |

| I really don't understand the point of this episode. It's just a recap under the guise of figuring out why Taint Akutagawa acts the way he does, but it's still a recap. Which isn't needed at all since the show is only 13 episodes long. They could've easily left out this episode and had a 3rd introduction episode instead. That way, they wouldn't have to bombard us with so much information about the show's universe at once and wouldn't leave us as confused. At least, it confused me for a bit until I sat there to think about it for a bit. |
| Now that they have reflected on past events, Taint Akutagawa really behaved odd with him petting the dog (despite his well known fear) and other stuff. Looking forward to why the real one created him. |
