| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Zeo's academy is just another Beyblade solider lab where the owner (and American's leader) wants to take over the world. And the English speaking girly clown tricked Ryuuga into coming by promising him a battle (I'm guessing here) except his beyblade "isn't ready yet" (because they make the blades or modify them and the blader with SCIENCE!). Nothing new there. What seems to be different is the leader, Dr. Jinga, who says cats are so 90s and got some other creature to pet, wants to gain control over the power of Darkness and have his bladers use it to take over the world. He got Ryuuga to basically be sneaky ang get the bey's data at full strength. So he had Zeo fight him except Zeo can't release his ultimate attack. (Ryuuga also calls him "small fry" lmao). So Dr. Jinga's plan failed and he shifted to Plan B: recruit Ryuuga. The Dr is pretty dumb if he thought that'd work; of course Ryuuga got pissed (bringing up his failures is a no-no) and smashed the place and walked away like a badass. (There seems to be a suggestion that Ryuuga and the power of Darkness had something to with Dr. Jinga, but I honestly have no clue what the guy was rambling about.) The other bit this ep, excluding the blader they're in the process of modifying, is Zeo. So, he's not actually evil but seems to have been manipulated by the group via Tobi (perhaps to try and find a cure for whatever is wrong with him?). Not only that, he's super jealous at Ginga for taking Masamune away and angry at Masamune for leaving them. He acted like a jealous lover, lol. So he wants to punish them both except he sucks. Next ep and we're still haven't gotten to the tournament. More Ryuuga and mind-control!Zeo and more, ugh, Masamune. |
