Well, at least Jade got a couple good hits in, but I figured she wouldn't be the one to stop Phos. Now I have to wonder if Cinnabar is some how going to get through to Phos or if it's going to involve more of melting Phos' mind with the gem-damaging effect that Cinnabar has.

Fucking RIP Jade. I think in their last words they might have gotten Phos to feel some hesitation, surprisingly.
God it's been such a long time coming, I can't fucking wait to see the Phos and Cinnabar confrontation. I know Ichikawa is going to make it great.

I binged the series up to this point and can not wait for the next chapter. This confrontation has been build up for so long. It is really ironic that Phos turning against the earth gems lead to Cinnabar find a place and acceptance. I expect so exellent drama from the next chapter. All started with Phos wanting to find a job for Cinnabar and now all their actions lead to this tradedy.

They're short so the shinsha and phos confrontation chapter can be really long.

All are heated for Cinnabar vs Phos.Well,me too. They were on good terms but now it's quite opposite.

Jade did pretty well. I'm glad we got to see Jade hold her ground for a while.

I blame Sensei, everyone was better off without Phos. The selfish insecure gems on the moon were satisfied. The gems on earth were happy. Then Sensei ruined everyone's lives by putting Phlos back together and waking her from her inactive state.

At least Cinnabar has a job now that only they can do. Too bad I don't think she can beat Phos.

I am hoping for a happy ending where sensei prays and Phlos watches all life dissolve into nothing, and they see and hear Aechmea laughing in the corner before he disappears. Leaving Phlos alone on a planet for 1,000,000 years. Then the moon crashes into the planet.

Edit: forgot to add Cairngorm is the one who crashes the moon into the earth because they've been alone on the moon all this time.

I feel completely the opposite way lol its the gems that brought all of this trouble upon themselves so I am enjoying their destruction for the time being cant wait to see cinnabar shattered 😇

Believing sensei is blameless is an interesting way to see it. I'm curious to know why you think he's blameless.

I do believe that gems brought trouble on themselves.

The gems that went to the moon, with the exception of Yellow and 84, were insecure and selfish fools for returning to the earth.

Earth gems acted foolishly when it came to Phos. Phos was a liar, traitor, and someone that attacked them, but they left Phos in a broken, inactive state. They should ground him in dust or at least scatter his shards at sea and soak his other add-ons in Cinnabar's poison in secret locations. It came back to bite them in the butt.

Phos was a fool that thought way too highly of themselves. One who was left a twisted broken tool, a monster consumed vengeance that, as you said, "brought all of this trouble upon themselves."

Sensei is a machine and he seems to be unable to talk or act freely in specific situation no matter how much he wanted! Another reason is that I dont think he did anything wrong by bringing phos back. As for the gems I'll put most of the blame on the earth gems they acted so agressively toward phos especially bort and denied any negotiation! Its true that phos made a lot of mistakes and even attacked them but he had a goal better than any of them! Living in a loop of fighting the Lunarians for eternity and hoping they dont catch you is not a cool way to live your immortal life its what made some of the gems so insecure and go to the moon.
Also, I never felt phos thought so highly of himself at all! Atleast before he went full demon. He was just like the other moon gems, a very insecure person that wanted to find his place in all of this mess which gets us right back at the Lunarians vs gems cycle. The other gems aside from dia and padpara didnt care about him even his supposed friend cinnabar was the first to attack him even though he new why he went to the moon!

(sorry for the essay)
Interesting, I get where you're coming from about sensei. Him being a machine does take the blame from in some aspects in my eyes as well. I guess'll give him a break on some things. He does have freewill in some areas so I still hold him accountable for those things. The fuse was snuffed out while Phos was inactive. When Sensei put Phos back together without all his pieces sensei not only reignited the fuse, he added gasoline. The only one that could have put Phos back together properly was Rutile. The Earth gems said they would decide together when to put Phos back together because at the time they didn't trust him and he was a threat. They were 100% correct.

Maybe I missed something because I watched the anime and eventually moved the manga. I never saw Phosphophyllite as an insecure gem. Phosphophyllite came across spunky, little spoiled, and flighty. He just seemed like a recent college grad looking for their place in the world. That's not to say he was free of insecurities, all the gems had insecurities. When I say a gem is insecure I mean they've let insecurity dominate their life or stop their growth.

The less Phosphophyllite there is more highly Phos thought of themselves. In the latter chapters it was always "I", "I", "I" with Phos in the beginning with Phosphophyllite it wasn't that way. There is so little Phosphophyllite left, I don't consider the current Phos and Phosphophyllite the same gem. Phosphophyllite was naive and wanted a better way for the gems. In my mind, Phosphophyllite died the moment they took that eye from the "prince". The current Phos is a foolish traitor, liar, and a monster.

Thanks for explaining some your view, it gave me a better understanding of why some people are like die Earth gems and Cinnabar. I may not agree but to each their own. I'm not trying to change your mind, I just enjoy discussing anime with people that don't turn into a-holes because you don't agree with them.

Same here! I apologize if I ever came as rude in my previous reply. I can see your point too but I felt the gems were too hasty to shatter phos and maybe if they left him in half and talked with him occasionally while keeping the rest of his parts away things might have went better. As for phos he always seemed insecure for me and his flashback of the gems mocking him when he was repaired on the moon confirmed it to me he wanted to prove that he is useful and that he is not useless but all of this eventually turned into hatred! Its true the old phos seem to have been nearly lost and the only thing he remembers from those days is how everyone thought of him as a useless and unnecessary gem. I guess he might resurface for a moment if he meets adamant or Cinnabar.

Oh no, you didn't come across as rude at all, and I apologize if I came across that way. Seeing his shattered memories as his insecurities is an interesting way to see it. It would be easy for insecurities to changed into hate in warped mind. Especially, when all the memories of how the same gems helped him over and over were missing. Bort and Cinnabor were always saving him, Jade and Euclase tried to guide him, Rutile worked tirelessly to put him back together after being called a quack numerous times, and there was no memory of Antarcticite (that even hurt me).

It would be interesting to see if he snaps back while fighting Cinnabar. I also wonder if fighting Cinnabar will cause him to forget everything.
