| Damn, it's been so long! Can't wait for this! Ever since I saw it top the Top 100 NHK, I've been wondering why a second season hasn't been greenlit yet but it's here at long last! Edit: 2022 so prospects of this being 2 cours is very strong as well which is great news! |

Most of the production staff is back though but I'm curious why the change of studio? I guess Sunrise just wasn't available? Though Bandai probably owns part of the brand so it makes sense to use their own studio to make season 2. At least this situation isn't like One Punch Man season 2 where it had little to none of the production staff from season 1 |

You need to watch at least the 2nd movie because it is a sequel for season 1 https://myanimelist.net/anime/12017/ The 1st movie cover episode 1 & 2 with additional new side story. I recommend watching it but it is not required. |

| I was literally near tears when my phone gave me a notification. This anime is literally anime of my soul. It reminds me so much of old DC movies and it took me less than 5mins to fall in love with it the first time. Plus the way relationships progress in this anime (and movies) is amazing. It's far away but at least IT"S COMING! They have manga to guide them now too. I don't know if Kazuhiko Tamura will produce the new season, but I hope he at least has an influence on it.
