Death note is back! It's been 10 years since the end of Kira and the death god Ryuk is back in Japan to stir some trouble, this time - because of apples, rather than boredom!

Last time Ryuk just "dropped" his Death Note, this time he literally shoves it in the face of a new victim-wunderkind, rising several alarms.
If a death god can meddle this much in the lives of humans, doesn't it make them more dangerous than the death notes? I believe we (and Near) were certain that the Shinigami were just observers. Ryuk just crossed that line by a huge margin. Are the death gods allowed to do this? Is Near ok with Ryuk doing whatever he pleases? Man...humanity is doomed! Has the world become a playground of Ryuk with no one there to control his rampage?

I don't know why DG king would even bother making such a huge deal out of people selling/buying death note?
In the end, human world is already too aware of the existence of the killer notebook, so the world has already changed - never to be the same again. Who benefits or suffers from this? Humans who buy/sell - don't benefit from it for sure; do death gods lose something in return? Does it mean that the death gods don't want it to be used by humans for some reason??? It just doesn't make any sense? It feels as if Shinigami king got jealous that he'd not get $$$ transaction fees, so he basically makes it "illegal" or pointless.

I really wanted to like this chapter, i really did, but the story, especially towards the end, ruined the experience completely.

Adding an actual real-time politicians was anticlimactic and would only please trump-hating democrats and various trolls who hate the said man without actually doing a research on him whatsoever. Why involve real-life politics in this fiction...to promote author's views on current US president? pfft...

Trump is shown here as a megalomaniac who values his life over a nation. Trump part was executed very poorly. The very moment he made an announcement to buy the book, he'd be targeted for assassination by literally EVERYONE, including Americans themselves! Media would be all over him 24/7, he'd be under surveillance, with bodyguards accompanying him even when he shits!

It's incredibly stupid to believe that Trump, who spoke for the people of US, not for himself, would talk with Ryuk completely ALONE! With the money that was certainly gathered from MANY sources, hundred if not thousands of powerful people would NOT be content with fake death-god Trump announcing he's a "god" everyone should worship and fear now. How stupid of a plan is that?! Either they're mocking Trump's intelligence (which turns this into some propaganda piece), or this entire chapter is a big joke! Even if the world is stupid enough to believe Trump's lies, it wouldn't take too long till it's discovered that "death note sale" was just a "fraud" and Trump is but a normal human.

P.S After Trump gets removed, US would still demand their money back, and rightfully so. Japan, unless they want to be embargoed or face China alone, would have to comply! US has done it before with Germany, and they'd do it again! Japan is not a country who'd oppose US. Note also that we find out people can't just withdraw all the money at once - meaning the BANKS are actually in control - meaning people have NO SAY in the matter - meaning the money CAN be taken away by the banks/government like it USUALLY happens. Meaning they'd do JUST THAT 0 easy come, easy go...

New rule of buyer/seller dies is useless and stupid.
Ryuk just explained that whoever buys the book, dies. Even if Trump refuses to take the notebook+get his money back, this NO-HOW guarantees that Ryuk won't just go to a house next door and find a new "smart" guy who'd agree to sell the note, resulting in countries getting bankrupt, stock markets crumbling, top nations hating each other openly, causing mass chaos, poverty, rise of crime, anarchy and maybe even a world war! So what gives?! Why make a stupid rule? Ryuk is the problem here, not the notebook! put a leash on him for F-s sake!

ALSO,
Even though sharing money with millions of people to remain "untraceable" is smart, I don't think Japan(or any country!) would actually benefit from such influx of money! wouldn't that cause CRAZY levels of inflation and chaos?! I mean, if everyone is rich - then NO ONE is rich. That's basically the purpose of money! Not everyone has to have too much of it! People, especially with many family members would get SUPER greedy with ridiculous amounts of money. If you can afford to buy dozens of houses, why not buy more and more, for future generations for example?! Why not buy business chains? entire stocks of various products? gold, electronics, real estates, ANYTHING! Not to mention, $ would have lost its value A LOT, after US most likely had to print a lot of money to afford buying the notebook in the first place! Meaning that Japanese currency would ALSO not be the same value as before transaction happened! And before someone says that limited cash withdrawal per day will fix things, IT WON'T. The stupid kid didn't save the nation, he DOOMED it, and likely other nations too!

P.S.S MC dying was anticlimactic as hell, he got bamboozled and disposed of *snaps fingers* just like that. And all thanks to the updated "terms of agreement" the "customer" was unaware of. If death gods can cheat like that and make new rules whenever they please, it makes no sense to why Ryuk would even bother explaining it to Trump to begin with! This way Ryuk would be the god of Chaos, causing colossal damage to human world over and over again! And what would stop death gods to one day reigning over mankind?Overall it was weak and cheap way to end the story like this 5/10 - 5 mostly for the nostalgia and seemingly-smart MC who was good at not playing god for once.
