Only number 9 can kill the big guy apparently, she must be the physically strongest Claymore or has some sort of sword technique that makes her tough enough to pierce the big guy.

The visual of the Awakened is beatiful as always. I would love a RPG that used monsters with these designs.

The writing is lovely, MC in the beginning of the manga was vaguely written (in a way that's interesting) sometimes it was difficult getting a feel of her character until her back story was explained. She became a lot more interesting after that. she's consistent with the facade she expresses normally until her values are challenged or facing a challenge beyond her reach. she loses a degree of her reasoning and calculated thinking, letting her emotions take control, But overall a character with a strong goal and a desire for revenge. love it.
