| Yamcha's introduction here is one of the most memorable moments from Dragon Ball, at least in terms of what I watched. Possibly because after Dragon Ball Z it's so weird to see him treated as something of a big deal here, he was the first person who gave Goku any semblance of trouble, hungry or not that's still impressive. Yamcha's pretty good here, the sword is cool, The Wolf Fang Fist is cool, his anxiety around girls is funny. Though the best bit of the entire chapter is Goku ricocheting Yamcha off the top panel, always love when series incorporate the panels themselves like this. |

| didn't thought yamcha could be that interesting, in DBZ he's lame, but he have some character in DB. oh and he got hit by the upper panel frame xDD that was truly unexpected ending. |
| Goku hitting Yamcha so hard he bounces of the manga panel is amazing. Toriyama was always good at using the medium to his advantage with his comedy and it shows he started out with gag manga. |
