| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- This volume was published by Viz media as vol. 12 of the "Phoenix" series. Compared to the rest ones, it looks more childish, I'd say, and the phoenix itself doesn't play that big of a role here. There're also more panels on a page in this volume than in those written years later. As such, it's more difficult to dissect what's going on on the page, and there's more text. But it was a good read overall, and it was nice to see Tezuka's take on some of the popular legends (like the legend of Troy) |
