| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Dolma was so strong, she swallowed her grief and used the death of the man she loved to stop the civil war, preventing her citizens from suffering, I'm sure she's going to be a great queen. Also, Goemon was doubting his bond with Lupin last episode, but in the end, Lupin called them friends once again, and they were there when it mattered and it was just like Lupin knew it from the start, it was great. Also I can't believe they left me hanging on Lupin's answer to Fujiko's question, but I'm glad we still got the scene. Since it was the theme and feeling floating through the eipsode I'm just going to tell myself that he was going to say that she was his first love, I believe he still loves her even now, and I can't take her seriously when she says she hates him. I'm a bit sad she wasn't really in the spotlight this time since she was for the most part in this episode III, but I loved the scenes she was in. Ami also realized she's in love with Lupin, but even though I like her and she has an amazing talent, I don't think the day she will be a "better" woman than Fujiko will ever arrive, but that's just my assumption. |

| What made me laugh was that they planned to make Ami the new love interest for the season, but changed plans when they made her 14. Seems like these new seasons just like to throw in a new love interest into the mix since things are so complicated with Fujiko |
| What a weird arc. I'm glad it's over, since it only kind of made sense. Lots of intrigue. Gotta' hand it to Japan, they don't fight with --kid-- gloves. Haha. |
| Amazing episode! I love how serious the episode is with all the blood and killing, but they still manage to maintain the Lupin charm all throughout :) Still give her props for admitting she loves Lupin in front of everyone. Ami is cool and all, but sorry. Fujiko will always be the one for Lupin :P I feel like this was a more serious take compared to Rebecca. |
