| I know this is old news but I just found out about it and I'm pretty hyped. Studio 3Hz's last two original anime both had yuri in them, and were also good shows in general—Flip Flappers in particular is one of my absolute favorite anime. I'm hoping that Black Fox will follow the trend set by Flip Flappers and Princess Principal and turn out to be a high-quality anime that also delivers on high-quality yuri. |

| 3Hz usually do good stuff. Or at least average stuff who is very well produced, if not. This has gorgeous animation, char designs, cool soundtrack, and looks like a (short) battle shounen with a female protag in present era Japan. Since it's anime original, likely won't be hyped that much (no OG mat fans to oversell it as the new Holy Grail), but that's good. Overhype can kill part of a series enjoyment. Plus, you literally can't be spoiled, ever. Hope it's 2 cours. Don't remember 3Hrz doing 2 cours, but this has some dank potential. |
