| i remember Charybdis from Greek mythology so I am curious what its form will be like in this series. I wonder if Veldora is going to whoop his child's ass. This is something minor but I really like it whenever Rimuru takes a bath in his slime form because he's surrounded by tons of multi-colored mini-Rimunus. It's just so adorable. |

| I like how this show gets you from one story arc to another without much fuss, this is going to be a great scale war, and I can't wait for action from Rimuru's part. As much as I want him to have a great part in the battle force, I hope they incorporate some strategic thinking so that it doesn't turn into a full show off stage. I was just thinking when they are going to talk about Veldora again, and here we are, I really hope Rimuru gets to use some of his powers; maybe transform into him or even set him free somehow |

| Well, it seems Phobio wasn't the smartest one out of the batch... the harlequins' words weren't that persuasive but he still managed to trust in two creatures he had never met before, nice. That aside, it was a nice episode again. It was also nice to know more about Charybdis and how it's related to Verudora. Based on what they said in this episode, I guess it's pretty strong and for that reason, I'm expecting a great fight between it and Rimuru with some help from Milim too, I hope. It would be great to see more of her skills while fighting. |
| Well, I'm guessing Rimuru will have to go all out, but in the end ask for Milim's help to actually defeat it. Unless he can use predator on it, or maybe all upon Veldora to somehow tame it. |

| I strongly believe that Rimuru is the reincarnation of the "hero". I think he was brought into that world as her replacement after she died. So no matter how strong this Demon Lord Leon, Rimuru is gonna devour his way to him and the next target for Predator is that giant floating shark. After he devours Charybdis he's be as strong as a demon lord right? |

| holy balls what an absolute thick skulled shithead jesus christ. Your telling me this royalty was so much of a sore looser after getting his ass handed to him for being cocky he just came to the agreement of "ah yes let me instead of being a man for once, sacrifice my body to the calamity class Charybdis." Now i really wish Millim fucking killed the guy, leaving him alive after that punch probably gave him severe brain damage and the "evaporation of reasoning EX" skill. Lmao compared to Gabiru, who i was pissed about what he did, but ngl always liked his character since his first appearance, i hate this Sir Phobio guy TEN FOLDS more. Gotta give it to them, Charybdis definitely has some good design choice. Lots of different ways they could of approached his design, but i'm happy it wasn't some giant dragon or the usual flying animal. Like if you told me it was another dragon i would of been like "oh no, anyway" but if you told me it was a giant fucking fish/shark hybrid with a fat fucking eye i would be scared shitless, and i am. That thing looks like an absolute abomination and i love it. Shit is getting spicy again, poor Millim don't do her like that :c. Rimuru is definitely gonna need the power of every fucking nation for this one no cap. |

| Calamity type of monster, Charybdis approaching. That beastkeeper demon got easily manipulated cause his foolish grudge. But, ofc Rimuru never surrender to fight whatever scary Rimuru's enemies were. No shit, even a predacious new demon lord like Orc Lord could Rimuru beat easily. Why not some flying monsters could be easily defeated too? I just hope Milim had some good action too before. Lets see.... Beside that, the relations between human and Jura Tempest Federation should be increased as how big Rimuru's project in the near future. Especially with the false hero rumours with the Orc Lord issues, it should be clear out some humans hesitation against monsters, in a certain time later. However, before reaching that, lets see the battle against Charybdis first! |

As much as I wanna see Milim in action, let's leave it to the country itself to deal with this problem. Any mention of Shizue is always pain. Defeating the Charybdis is a good first step in getting to Leon. |

She realy is the mascot of this show lol Farabeuf said: They talked. Then they talked. When that was done , they talked again. And when it was all over, they talked some more. I know perfectly well that this is LN adaptation thats catered for existing fans, but damn, the old storytelling premise for visual media of "show, don't tell" really seemed to go out the window in this episode. If I wanted to hear a bunch of dialogue, I'd read a book instead. And its not that I cannot watch a dialogue based show (i've breezed through most of Monogatari series and others), but it just seems like a chore here. The delivery is so flat, I'm dumped a bunch of info and plot. Next episode seems more promising though. Refrain yourself from watching log horizon at all cost ! The main character is basicaly staying in a room talking for 3 seasons ! XD But yeah ppl tend to forget its an anime , not only a animation of the original source , if they want to watch anime with the original story they should focus on thoses like madoka magica that are the original source , cause anything else will have to remove or add things , if they dont , we end up with this , a whole talking episode Thats why i like fanservice , no story , no big talk , only funny things , no matter the source , its still ok (mostly) |

| Yeah this was boring too, and made Phobio look like such a geek with accepting their offer like that when its blatantly obvious that he's being used and manipulated, his pride to defeat Milim really is worth his life being screwed with that much. There's so much exposition in this episode and series in last few episodes that really feel meaningless in some ways, this is where I wish the show did a much better job in showcasing its world building rather than overelaborating on it to kill time and make the pacing feel even more awkward and heavy-handed for me sadly. Cause there's not much variety with the series and its themes, tone and characters, to go along with its overdose of exposition and awkward pacing, the series feels really lackluster without much of an intriguing direction to really look forward to with the future, which makes perfect sense with how the quality of the second season was by the end. |

| Phobio is hotheaded and reckless, but I like how he's not a complete idiot. While he's trying to harness a dark power far beyond himself and would most likely inadvertently cause mass destruction over petty revenge, he had the mindfulness to send his men back to his lord with a report of everything that happened, as well as to formally resign before bringing any damage to his nation's reputation in case things go south. |
| Phobio's hatred towards Milim and him embarrassing himself allowed 2 clowns named Tear & Footman to manipulate him. My understanding was that he was supposed to combine with Charybdis and it appeared to work since they showed Charybdis flying with his shark mob towards the end of the episode. Side note, it was interesting to hear that Charybdis is essentially Veldora's offspring and that Rimuru imagined that they could be brothers so I wonder if that will affect the upcoming battle. |
