I'm finding it hard to see this as any better than 'passable'. >.<
Hopefully it'll seem better when combined with the story.

Lines seem too heavy, and there don't seem to be enough of them for Tohka's hair texture.

I think Origami looks _slightly_ worse in the PV, but I can't pin down exactly why... Might be due to subtle heaviness in the linework, colors, and shadows. O.o?

I forgot AIC Plus+ did the first season and IMS only did season 2 .

I wanna know what was happing in the production stage . And if IMS was actually involved during it or not .

I don't see the reason for the season to be released in Jan couldn't they just released it in one of the other anime seasons next year. Are they just desperate to release it to get it out the way? .

are they going to work on the bluray and dvd relases more instead to improve it.

It wouldn't be the first series to have a big overhaul on bluray and dvd versions. Like Aot season 1 for example that was pretty bad style wise when it aird to when it came out on bluray not sure about the animation though

It probably depends on the stuido though apparently the vol sales price are pretty high i don't see it selling much unless they are doing a overhaul/edit the bluray and dvd sales

The TV slot they're airing this in is probably locked down months in advance, so I doubt delaying it 3 months is simple.

Not sure about wide-ranging overhauls of the art, but Date a Live BDs have tended to add or extend a lot of scenes. Wouldn't be the first time they fixed up Miku's facial art though.

I would like to think Production IMS is not simply responsible for all the better art. It's not _all_ bad after all...

Yeah the art seems to be a huge downgrade but it's still passable at least. I am happy we got a new season and the story will probably make up for it (especially since the movie was 3 years ago...time sure flies). The new girl seems to have fun powers.

Oh good, the animation looks bad. So disappointed... I hope this one is the last show they are going to fk with, because they have some important project going. I don't care much about this show luckly.

They better fix that in the BDs especially since they took the big risk and offered the anime as a standard and special edition boxsets.

Hahaha if you knew. Could tell you but it's spoiler so I'll refrain from doing so. Well, if you only care about Kurumi I'd say don't watch it but read the LN if you ever want to get to her. Doubt you would want to spend time reading it though so don't bother watching this season.
