"I'll be counting on you, Eijiro Kashiwaba."

Such an amazing episode and that scene was really the icing on the cake. Harada handing back the empty beer glass to Minami was a great moment as well.

Was indeed one of the best episodes ever in this series. It cracked me up when the old couch stated that he wasn't returning; poor Tatsuya was so happy that the was finally getting rid of that gloomy new coach.

HAHA, the looks on Tatsuya's face after Nishio said that he won't coach the final match XD. Lool, he was so happy too.

One of the better episodes from Touch, the scene between Nishio and Eijiro was fantastic.

Yes Nishio with one true dagger straight into Eiijiro's heart.

And it looks like Tatsuya is becoming what Minami's dad feared.

Good episode, at first I had to look up if Eijiro Kashiwaba was his or his brother's name.

I'm disappointed, but not surprised. I mean, Nishio was right to leave things to the coach who got this far, but on the other hand, this was a mistake too. He was the coach when Kashiwaba was bullied till he had to quit, and he clearly didn't do anything to prevent it, so this may be his way of "atoning" for that, but he's leaving in the hands of a sociopath the destiny of the baseball team, and Tacchan was counting on his return.

I guess that even though he knew that it was Eijirou, he doesn't know about the physical abuse. Because if he does know about it, he's just doing the same thing he did in the past, and averting his eyes from the problem, but welp. Now there's even this craziness with people saying that Kacchan is the one pitching; this is really rude to Tacchan who is trying his best, but the craziest part is that it seems that even himself is going to have a identity crisis or something.

It's nice that people everyone put their trust in Eijirou, and rightly so. His unorthodox methods have proven to be successful and he pushed Meisei further than anyone else.

Nishio really put some trust in Eijirou there perhaps as an atonement for not being a good coach. Don't think Eijirou is going to continue his path of destruction and probably turn for the better (as far as demon coach can go)

Drunk Harada is not something I expected to see today when I started watching this episode. Someone give my man a "Legendary Drinker of Ryukyu" before chinpiras start ganging up on him on the road.

Coach Nishio is back! Honestly I didn't think he'd come back. Unfortunately can't say I missed him either. But him coming back even if it was just a simple visit was a good thing. I don't think anyone's surprised that he won't be the coach for the last match. Eijirou did everything up until then so even if Nishio didn't know that he wasn't Eiichirou I don't think he would've replaced him this late. This talk between the 2 coaches might've been the 2nd catalyst for the stubborn demon to turn around.
I don't think Nishio knew "all along" that he recommended the wrong brother though considering how he shit-talked him once. He probably found out after Eiichirou or his wife visited him.

Looking back, I actually agree this.

Just when I was wondering what the hell happened the old coach, here he is. Seeing him without uniform feels different :) Drunk harada and papa uesugi was great also imo.
