| Endou has always cared about himself above others. He's not a bad guy, but he's certainly not a good one. Recall what he did to Kaiji at the end of part 2. Can't wait to see his antics with Kaiji again! And yes, he's certainly referring to Sakizaki. Regarding him, he cares for Kaiji like a father in my eyes, pitying his gambling addiction and wanting better from him, and he's also grateful for the money Kaiji paid him back. So, I can't imagine he'll rat Kaiji out, not that he could in any great detail since he doesn't know where they went, but it's still scary to think of Endou intimidating him and trying to use him against Kaiji. Further, another piece of the puzzle could be the betraying member of the Asian trio that we had a earlier run in with, and the old guy who helped Chang, and even that kind taxi driver who worked so hard to help Chang out. I'm wondering if this will become a tug of war of who we can trust! Shamo6 said: Still I have to say FKMT really has milked the series so much that it doesn't feel serious to me I disagree. I think the in depth exploration on how to escape and transfer that money to their homelands while on the run is brilliant. It's something that normally isn't explored in such strenuous detail. Fukumoto is doing and that's really cool to me. I wouldn't disagree that this arc is clearly the most "fun" though. It's constantly moving and changing main character perspectives for the first time ever and it's action packed with car chases, and running from the cops like when Mario fake stole the purse. |
