I enjoyed the anime but I seem to think there are many times where the director wants to ship Iori +Chisa. I do hope there will be a shipping formed or maybe a developement to happen. What do you think?

I'd say no, since romance isn't the focus here. There aren't even that much romantic parts in it. Well, yes, some characters might have romantic tendencies, but if you add this genre here, then you would also have to add it in other shows, like Gurrenn Lagann, where characters are actually falling in love with each other...

genre romance is a stupid genre for anime, I have never rated anime that has the romance genre 8 above, because the romance genre is sucks.

many anime get high score because there is no romance genre. try to imagine if SAO doesn't have romance, surely anime is very good

My sister is a huge fan of Gintama but I have not seen and Grand Blue there are many hints of romance. Though I just wish the director can focus a bit more to enhance it.

I have not seen Gurren Lagan since after a few episodes, I wasnt into it. Though If there is a bit of romance here and there then why not just let the story spit it out.

Having romance plays a major part in overall story and character development. Even in some cases cause yandere (Mirai Nikki). I noticed your list and seen Koe no Katachi which is my fav movie but really lacks romance

Because the romance part isn't substantial to the main plot. It's just there, just like in Grand Blue Dreaming. The main theme is diving and comedy...

Koe no Katachi is about frendship not a romance, ofcourse theres a little bit romance but its not a romance anime

I didnt say gintama couldnt have romance,it's okay as a subplot,but if the show focuses on romance aspect,it'd be bad.

Grand blue and gintama is full of insane characters so adding in romance will definitely ruin it.

Grand blue characters are naked all the time so adding in romance will make it some how similar to hentai or like 'naked romance' lol.

Aren't they cousins though? I do get what you're saying since romance is hinted between 3 of the heroine's and iori. Don't think it'd work if chisa is his cousin,azusa jokes too much to know if she's actually serious or not, Aina is the only possible pairing and iori doesn't seem to reciprocate those feelings too much. It's such a gag show you can't really take the romance serious.

Well, The author said they're not related by blood at all so...i really hope Iori would end up with chisa. Besides, cousin marriage is legal in japan

It's not that it would be bad it just honestly wouldn't change much. There has been more romance in the manga whereas before there was almost none which the author does in a way where the romance aspects fit well with the story? And since it is a college setting, a bit of romance was bound to be in the story

I have caught up with the manga it surprisingly has a romantic narrative, but wow it has one of the best romantic comedy narrative despite this series heavily focusing on comedy.

Maybe for the ending there could be romance, but some more romance here and there wouldnt be bad, obviously not covering the comedy, thats not the main genre of the series.

I don't sense any romance because I've been laughing in every bit of panel so that can't contradict the fact it's focusing on romance in particular. More of a slice of slice and major comedy to it.

It's not always genuine love that a show needed, Grand Blue would be more fun if there's a content about a seggs party with the naked men than a romance with a man-hating cutie. Because it's more mature and realistic. (Yes there's horny young adult men that are really want to act making out with other men).
