Dunno about the story but the animation and art quality is a joke lol

I don't get why they make such type of anime if they have no power to make the animation decent at least cause right now the anime looks cheap af

Hm, I think I'll watch the score for this show and then decide wether to watch or not, at least until they reach the half way point. As far as I remember, it took some time for Steins;Gate (about 10 episodes?) to make the score rise at the time it aired.

-Bad art (the quality was so bad).
-Bad directing (shots are all over the place; literally).
-Plot conveniences (guy randomly gets into cryogenic bed without realizing it?).

It wasn't an issue in Futurama.

My mistake: The animation is absolutely terrible, not the art. The art is average.
Also...
Futurama: Guy accidentally falls into cryogenic pod. Also, it's a comedy that's mostly plotless and doesn't take itself very seriously.
RerideD: Guy randomly crawls into a cryogenic pod without noticing? In a show that is a dark drama?

Also, the characters are so bland and uninteresting. Very few even have a quirk.

looks too generic. abe has lost his edge with old age. new character designs are too moe to be taken seriously and the dark premise is overly forced while failing to reach texhnolyze/lain levels.

This is done by Takuya Satou, chief director of Steins;Gate not Hamasaki Hiroshi please (Same guy who did Texhnolyze). Don't confuse both directors, I think the chief director is the one who lost his edge and yeah it sucks to see directors of one of the best anime fall so low.

It completely feels like it inspired from S;G (due same director) but first few episode can drop off people like crazy for some of its questionable plot twists but thought at least it gets interesting with more episodes (especially it needs 24 ep). Anyway it will depend how we get justifiable answer to the mysteries presented so far.

It's honestly something that's going to be riding off of the hype of its staff but given what has been presented so far, plus knowing it's only going to be 12 episodes, it's gonna be a fall off for some people.
