It's fun seeing the reactions of characters who have never had Japanese food before, and I love that they have a recipe segment at the end! |

| This was a decent episode, nothing too special. The food looks quite good, but the constant title bar is really annoying. It will be fun to see people's reactions from other worlds eat Japanese food. |

| I'll be damned... A food porn anime, and if that wasn't enough the segment at the end made me realize that watching this with an empty stomach was a bad idea. It reminded me of Isekai Shokudou but this is more simple. I may like this. Also, Tomokazu Sugita :) |

| It was all good, feels like you wanna sit back, and enjoy this show other than letting it make you feel any angst. It feels like Food Wars, yet too light-hearted 7/10 for the first episode and let's see what Ono and Yoshida have in store for me. |

| Lacks of quality everywhere, but they dont need much to make this idea works. Surprisily the culinary section was enjoyable, like the rest of the espisode. 15 minutes is probably the perfect time to this project. |

| Not a good episode. Very short. Then the real life cooking at the end. (Making the time for the actual episode even shorter.) Char design looking uglier compared to Isekai Shokudou. Also less introduction to the world/setting and less about the episodical characters personality7job/life. They just mentioned their guard commander and other than that it was only about the food. And that was less spectacular than Isekai Shokudou. Dropping this was 5/10. (Isekai Shokudou I finished 8/10.) |
| oh it's such a treat because Mimori Suzuko is voicing the girl! 2nd part live action cooking was very amusing as well, made me a bit hungry there...lol 4/5. |

| Nice i heard Touma's voice, thats all the reason i have for watching xD its just 10 minutes tho :( i wont count 5 minutes of a dude cooking(even though i watched it since its a part of the episode >_<) I really didnt get how he could felt such exctasy after eating some ordinary beans... Also looks like its only ordinary humans working in the restaraunt, no dragon or demon? :( |

| This is very similar to Isekai Shokudou isn't it...well, at least it takes a different spin on it with a different format using that cooking-show corner. Although I personally think the character designs are a little...narrow? Like everything is squished vertically. Kinda wish it was a full 30 mins per episode where they can show two short stories per episode. Overall, I liked it...especially the part where they showed the payment of cash, since the manga didn't really get too into it. Any time these isekai stories come out, they usually gloss over the money transactions. If they're running a business, they ought to show them dealing with taking payments, and sorting out converting their otherworld coins to Yen that they themselves can use to buy this world's ingredients to keep the business going. |

| Really great first episode, I found the premise very interesting (even though Shokudou did it while ago too but this seems like low fantasy or middle-ages rather than high-fantasy setting which is cool). Probably one of the first episodes of new anime this season. And I also like the cooking part in the end, gotta try that recipe sometimes too. |

| @Mich666 @4kicks @Manjuudesu @ibraheem234 In terms of release Izakaya's source released before Shokodou did, so in a sense Shokodou came after Izakaya, meanwhile for the anime adaptation it's Shokodou which got the adaptation first, but that doesn't negate the fact that Izakaya came up first :) Just wanted to let you all know :) |

| Ah nice another lovely Japanese food/restaurant experience and instead of having a magical restaurant that opens door to Japan, it opens the doors to other worlds! Especially loved the post live action informative part, and that sure looks amazingly delicious! |
