Manga is really awsmn
And with lerche adapting it I can already see is as a highlight of this year
Seriously guys its really good
I hope they do it in a pacing that suits it
BTW the director is good too
I hope they do it good and this becomes this year's big thing...
Yeah,it's really an incredible manga.I fell in love with at the first volume. The drawing is beautiful, the characters and their development are so much detailled. And this is so funny and deep at the same time.So yeah, this a nekketsu shonen but just read it

It's truly good, but you know that everyone could think different things about it. I'm reading the manga, and it's really nice, with great characters and development, totally not your typical japanese shounen.

I have the manga owned by myself in spanish, my country licensed it so... that's how I'm reading.
I have the chance to be French so i have read the 8 volumes of the manga and i can confirm you he is great. He speak about curent themes in the world like rascim or discrimination, i can wait for the anime *^*

You should stop your hate in something that you didn't even know and didn't start airing, if you're not interested in this show, ok then, but you're not "cool" because you're spreading shits. Just saying, let the people on this thread enjoy how we want.

I wonder who pissed in their cereals, they're in the other thread being all negative about it without having tried to read it from what I can figure out from the messages left here...

Viz recently got the license for the english release, the first volume will be out in september and the second one in november I think.

oh no I tried to read it but their is a series way superior. Cirque Du Freak. Plus its like bnha. Garbage.
So, did they remove manga because it's french? Now I can't even add it to reading list. I linda like it. Too bad there're only 4 chapters in english. It's so cliche, inspired on FT,DB,Naruto,OP or 666, but it's fun.
It's actually really fucking good imo. Yes we get some cliches from other shows but we never talk about the innovative stuff (Im not gonna because I'd spoil but there is some new stuff) I've read somewhere about 7 volumes and I'm getting hyped from the art and visuals ^^
This manga is fucking awesome, i'm french, and i've read the 9 volumes of the manga and i can told you that it's realy not seem to bnha or fairy tail. The manga speak about racism, discrimination, facism and esclavage. The Rumble town arc (volume 2 to 4) was fucking good, with a lot of interesting characters like Grimm or Piodon (no spoil) and with a strong message about Islamophobia. And after that, Tony Valent make the Caislean Merlin arc (volume 5 to ?) who speak about bourgeoisie and who speak about the ecology (the forest of caislean merlin, the Gnomes etc ...). So, having read the 9 volumes of the manga (the volume 9 was released yesterday) i can told you that it's a very good manga. Don't judge i'm with reading 4 chapters
both are great, whats wrong with them? Is it because its not the usual shonen bullshit?
There is nothing more classic than Nisekoi...
And it's a really poor shonen. I'm not a big fan of BNHA but he is right.. it's better than railgun or nisekoi. (Railgun isn't that bad tho)
BNHA is already way beyond failure. It's pretty much impossible for it to fail at this point.
On the other hand the manga that your waifu on your forum and profile picture is from, failed, seeing as it got axed.
But anyway, I can see why you're so bitter, negative and spiteful. Since your favs consist of plenty of anime that certain vocal niche groups consider absolute trash. It's a defense mechanism ain't it? Lul.

Don't give him a serious answer.
I would say don't give him any answer.
Just an attention hungry freak.

He could have ended this pointless argument here but he was just looking for attention.
ToG25thBaam said: wait there's manga for this? how come it's not linked on MAL?
Yeah there's a manga but as it's french it hasn't been published in english language yet and translated scans seem to be inexistent on the internet.
Surely explains why most people think the anime will be pure shit as they just watched a 30 seconds PV (very basic and stereotypical I must say) and literally don't know anything about the real themes of the manga...

It's based off of a French manga? I tried looking it up on mangaupdates as well and got no result.
As for this series, hope there's at least some cool fights in it like Mahou Sensei Negima / Toaru Majutsu no Index.

I don't know how good is the manga (the first few chapter is also stereotypical, maybe french version of black clover). But if the PV is bad, there is chance that actual anime is bad regardless of the source. Or is it really bait-and-switch?

Judging from the preview it does look good. So I will probably watch it
This anime is actually based on bande dessinee rather than manga, although it is a shonen-nekketsu. I wanted to change the source to bande dessinee, but there is no option of that. And manga is closer description to bande dessinee than other.

It's based on a manga. Some call it "manfra" but whatever, the author follows the manga's principles and describes his work as "a shonen manga"

Well, let's not talk about that. It can be a hot debate whether comic produced outside Japan can be considered manga. The bande dessinee is manga-esque, though.
premise sounds pretty generic but in a way that i kind of wouldnt mind relaxing to it week by week, it being 2 cour also helps.
I think ill give it a chance but theres the massive elephant in the room that the director is astonishingly terrible and fucks up countless adaptions by rushing through them and genuinely not having a grasp on pacing.

Jizzy as you would call yourself because youre a dick The most butthurt award goes to you And clearly you havent watched that many shows thats why you cant determine if a show is unique or not Or maybe you're just a child who likes common stuffs where hero saves the day and guys gets all the girls. Sad taste you have there kid you came up to me in the first place making you look more like a kid who got slapped without me even knowing it and start crying about it to me
Just started the manga this week and it's really really GOOD !
The first and second volumes were really dragging too much "shonen-tropes" and were kinda "bland" story-wise in my opinion but the characters are really fun and there is an enormous amount of humor so it kept me in reading until the third volume which really speed up the pace for the story and the background for the universe. I couldn't pause my reading after this and now the story is really original and feels fresh while at the same time using a tad lot of "Arhurian legends" and adding a celtic vibe to the current arc (which concludes in the 10th manga volume, I'm really wondering where the serie will go now).
The author said on Facebook that the pacing will change a bit with the anime adaptation compared to the original first manga volume, and that the 5 first episodes of the anime will handle the introduction to the universe and characters a bit differently, but that the rest of the series will stay exactly as the manga (and that's good because volume 3 and 4 are the best part of the first arc in my opinion).
I really hope the anime will be as good as the manga and that there will be enough attention to this serie so that we'll get a second season because the second arc is really one of my favorite story in manga so far ! (and Ocoho is best girl ! Really looking forward to her appearance in the anime as well as Master Lord Majesty aka MLM and Grimm)

Well it has been denied to be in the database since it's french... that kinda sucks because it is really a great manga in my opinion (whatever the country it comes from), the volumes 9 and 10 (the last released at the moment in France and next month to Japan) were some of the best made shonen mangas volumes I'v read, art-wise and even storywise.
And not being able to add it to this site to help it gain visibility for other readers, since it is now released in Japan and in english, seems really stupid since this is the whole purpose of the site (that and track what you're watching/reading).
Just take vndb as an exemple, this is the same concept as a website but for Visual Novel and you can add to the database Visual Novels from all around the globe whatever the country they were made, it is it's own genre as a medium, we don't have to focus where it comes from in my opinion as long as the user of the site knows the product exists and look at ratings to know if he should view it or don't to his own discretion.
I just hope the anime adaptation don't fail too much to adapt the manga (since the author already said the first episodes differs quite a bit from the manga), and that it won't alienate its potential viewers due to cliche shonen tropes (wrongly) added to please the anime-only viewers.
In particular I'm quite concerned at how Seth (the hero) will appear to anime-only viewers because from what I could see from the different trailers they seem to make him like a cliche shonen-protagonist who wants to be the best in magecraft but actually in the manga he states pretty early (like in the first chapter) that he don't care about being the best, he just wants to find the Radiant (kinda like Luffy wants to find the One Piece even if nobody even knows if it trully exists nor what it trully is) while every other mages don't give a damn about it (unlike One Piece then). And the reasons he has to find the Radiant seems also messed up in the trailers by the introduction of a kid who's a friend with Seth, even if in the manga it is stated he only knows Alma (his mentor) and he really struggles to talk to "normal" people (those who are not infected). But I can guess that they added this character to avoid to get a massive amount of informations from a narrator.

Lmao what? In what world Nisekoi got Axed? It ended naturally, it's one of the biggest manga of WSJ in this decade and one of the biggest romcom on the magazine as well.

I'm afraid there might be some issues in the adaptation.
This idea of a firend of Seth is kind of strange and even contradictory considering his background (rejection etc)...
Hum nevermind, we'll see.
