The 21st Japan Media Arts Festival list has been announced. The recipients include those from Japan, America, Russia, and France.

Grand Prize

Yoake Tsugeru Lu no Uta by Masaaki Yuasa (Japan)

Excellence Awards
Harmonia feat. Makoto by Tarafu Ootani (Japan)
Cocolors by Cocolors Production Team, represented by Toshihisa Yokoshima (Japan)
Negative Space by Ru Kuwahata and Max Porter (Japan / America)

New Face Awards
Fune wo Amu by Toshimasa Kuroyanagi (Japan)
The First Thunder by Anastasia Melikhova (Russia)
Yin by Nicolas Fong (France)

Manga Division
Grand Prize
Nee, Mama by Aoi Ikebe (Japan)

Excellence Award
Juuza no Ulna by Tooru Izu (Japan)
Nyx no Kakutou by Kan Takahama (Japan)

Japs surely loves their WW2 era movies, but thats ok because Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni. was a good movie.

it always the most unexpected untranslated things, except beastars! they are at least nominated in 2 other awards right? why it hadn't been adapted yet?
