| I wish to see more grown up Sakura, but we still got the same Sakura instead. I don't see much different between the old Sakura and the new Sakura. about the story, it looks like the cards going to evolve to the advanced level through "clearing". from Windy to Gale as for next week, it looks like from Maze to Prison/Room. |
| My childhood anime and memories came back after seeing it this again same VA, same bgm, so nostalgic I was sad when Sakura and Syaoran separated in the last movie but they are together again, so ROMANTIC all over again  Though expecting Sakura to roller blades to school but she doesn't use it anymore kinda sad, thats the Sakura I know when she go to school |

| This brought back so many memories from when I first watched the show so long ago. The show looks absolutely gorgeous, I find the modern art style quite fitting, and the girls are as cute as they've ever been. Syaoran entering the scene with Sakura meeting him was heartwarming to say the least. And Tomoyo filming their sweet embrace made me giggle. I can't wait to see all the new outfits Sakura will get and what the show will have in store from here on. Also liked the recap at the start of the show. |

| When the news came that another series of Cardcaptor was being made I couldn’t wait. I have a few questions but it might be just some continuity errors. In the first episode when Sakura remanences when Syaoran was leaving, they were both in the airpot and Syaoran gives her the bear. But in the recent OVA it was at the bus station which where she gives him the bear. I thought this was the new cannon ending from the original series. Spoilers from the movie/OVA/last series: Anyway, did anyone notice that background track of OP 3 instrumental, that was a nice touch. |

| I loved it, I was smiling the whole episode. The opening is great and the ending is really cute. <3 The only thing that bugs me is that they kind of mixed the end of the anime and manga (OVA) with the bear stuff. |

| Lord, I squealed like a little girl, after seeing the sequel to one of my most favorite anime from my childhood. I like that this show almost does not differ from the original in terms of atmosphere, cast and direction, although the voices of the characters seem more artificial, since it's been 18 years now. But I'm still glad that I can see it. |

Just a question: since the prequel was 1998-2000, do they use smartphones? or the old type phones? hahah! 5/5. Such nostalgicness: "RELEASE!!!" |

| Eeeeeehhhhhhh I never finished the original series but if that little recap in the beginning was a basic explanation of everything that happened in the original I'M PRETTY MUCH GOOD TO GO. And it look exactly like how my nostalgia makes it appear in my head, they haven't change a bit... since 2016... which is when I watched... part of it... I'm assuming I didn't miss too much... Nope, I missed a HELL OF A LOT. Still watching this anyway though. Outro was great too. |

| This episode was fantastic. The set up was great and helped to remind viewers of the characters and also set up the plot as well. The visuals were also vibrant and colorful, and the music was very engaging and catchy. I'm so hyped for this. |

| honestly only wanted to check it out for the nostalgia since the last time i watched cardcaptors you would've needed to use a tv guide to find out when it was on lol. regardless of my lack of memory of the old series i didn't completely feel left out, animation/art is real good (love the movement in the ED) |

| The ending of the original was satisfying but people wanted more. The way they handled her losing the cards and giving her a new weapon/saying to make it refreshing yet not changing much. |

 Tomoyo said it all! Great way to begin this series. I was kinda skeptical with all the new content but they did make it interesting and now I'm invested. Why the cards reseted? Who is the hoody figure? Why Syoran is back? YUE!!!! I HAD SUCH A CRUSH ON HIM LOL |

| DAMN SO MANY NOSTALGIA IN EFFECT RIGHT NOW! Old VAs? Check. Old OSTs? Check. Callbacks?!?! CHECK! (Sakura called a monster, Syaoran believing Yamazaki, etc) OMG I love this episode so much more than Digimon Tri, Yugioh Dark Side Dimension and Pokemon: I choose you nostalgia ride. |

At the very least, to be fair, this is thus far the most well-handled out of all the unnecessary, nostalgia-grab, anniversary-celebrating sequel projects. Even though it did screw with the canon. Urgh. All that's left is to see if it's actually a story worth telling or something they came up as an excuse to shove nostalgia in our faces. |

I AM SO GLAD SOMEONE ELSE NOTICED I WAS LOSING MY SH*T OVER HERE AND LIKE NO ONE ELSE CARED. MUH GURLS ARE ALL IN THE SAME UNIVERSE. ♥♥ That said I'm glad she's at another school so we don't have to hear about her and creepy pedo teacher. I'm sure they did that on purpose with all the backlash over that ahaha (though their relationship was omitted from the anime and became a one-sided crush thank god). I did not know about her VA passing away though, that is very sad. |
