| Like expected, you can't actually follow "fights" in this big general brawl. This will help to buy time by reenacting the same minute over and over from different viewing angles on the "battlefied" and to have less fighting action to animate. 2/5 @Darius Glad I made you laugh even if it wasn't intentional (the best jokes are always the unexpected ones after all). How many people still don´t get it. Even when I hear "five minuts and then 3 Hours" ... At the start of the saiajin saga in DBZ Piccolo said they moving faster than a normal person could see. You can´t watch time in Dragonball because it is usless, everbody move faster than our normal time. |

| WHAT AN INTERESTING EPISODE !!!!!!! , Tbh it's the perfect way to start this tournament and man i started jumping when it did , It's so goddamn intriguing and exciting to see Goku fight , JUST ADORE HIM WHEN HE FIGHTS .. But the thing is , And as always Goku let her guard down and he got caught in the enemy's hands for the love of god , he NEEDS to fix that bad habit ASAP ... I cussed him when he used Blue form i mean why Blue tho ?? Why show his strongest form when it's still in the beginning ( i know that it's not his strongest he has the Kaio + Blue ) But still he could've just used the normal Super Saiyan i think that would be efficient considering how powerful the normal Saiyan is ... And i have one thought about this and it's kinda like in there you know what i mean ? Anyway the thought is that Akira's letting us get used to the Blue form so he can surprise us SO GODDAMN MUCH LIKE REALLY SOO SOO MUCH with the Form that we saw in the Opening song , That's my thought and i kinda believed it myself xD ... And that guy , Jiren , what the hell is he ?? The other fighters look at him in the eye and it's just " FEAR " in their eyes , He looks pretty freaking dangerous , even both of Zeno-Oh's said to look at him carefully , Must be a pretty big deal and i just can't hold my curiosity and my HYPE for god's sake , Seriously this tournament is going to kill me before it ends and i really hope that doesn't happen xD ... | Only 1 minute passed? Was Freeza the one that presented earth minutes to the rest of the multiverse? So far the fighting is okay but I wanna see more focus on battles between the upper level fighters since its being dangled in front of us like a carrot on a stick. I guess we gotta wait until most of the fighters get weeded out. |
| Glad to see the tournament starting, but disappointed by how much they recycled the animation, or how some of the shots don't even look good. Basil shining blaster was reused 4 times in the span of a episode, that should be a crime! Hell, the ending even misses one of the characters ears (Pointy ears, is drawn like a normal ear). Jesus, what a messy start for the tournament. Let's hope the fodder get's thrown out soon so the quality can increase. |

| Is it just me or this Episode was just to show a General Look on how the tournament will play out? Like showing a bit of each fighters from all 8 universes with its respective god yelling at them, and will focus more on u7 vs the other universes only later on? |

| This is why I love Dragon Ball. It's super chilled, doesn't take it too seriously like 90% of this super edgy i-am-smart-and-adult animes out there. It's just a fun action pack that is self-aware. And oooh boy those 46 minutes are going to last 3 seasons. |

| The only warriors that I can see as a real danger are Hit, Jiren, Toppo, Goku, Vegeta, Gohan and Frieza. Despite them, the other warriors not special. |

| First episode of Summer 2017, and along with it they’ve now added Frieza in the OP in place of Buu, about time lol, and we also got a new ED, Boogie Back may have been a boogie bop but I like this more relaxed song a lot too, it reminds me a lot of the 3rd ED which is among the best of the show, and that’s probably because it’s by the same group lol, tho I’m watching the dub which has dubbed songs so it’s hard to tell. And the summer of 2017 starts off hot now that the tournament has FINALLY begun, but… not before another explanation of the rules and everyone staring at each other for 30 seconds or so lol, that was unintentionally hilarious to me because it reminded me of a Family Guy gag from their Star Wars parody which ended with “WELL… WE’RE WAITING”, it totally felt like that lol. But besides that, the fighting actually started and as I figured, it was a cluster fuck at the start that saw the strongest fighters of Universe 7’s team going off on their own, guess standing around was too boring for them lol. And it didn’t take long but two fighters are already out, that fairy girl from Universe 10 and that green guy from Universe 4, both had decent plans but failed, their gods of destruction were not happy lol. And now Goku is facing Universe 9 on his own pretty much, and I see people saying that a universe is getting knocked out next episode, damn that’s pretty early, but I kinda get it because with so many fighters out at once it will be hard to have any focused battles, so some gotta take the fall sooner than later. Also, wow you’re telling me only 1 minute has gone by, this is about to be the longest 48 minutes of all time lol. |
| Man, everyone broke off of Gohan's formation. That's annoying but makes some sense too (they won't all fall to a big crowd-control attack). That disruption of their team tactics really did annoy me though. Is it just gonna be the old one-on-one drawn out fights again? I was a bit scared when the fighters fell off the ledge, but they just teleported to their home team. Why did Nink talk about the other world? I don't like the new ending theme. |
