| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I have to admit, this gave me some weird vibes at first especially from the first few scenes. The OP song is rather catchy though. A main selling point imo is the setting so far as it has a Victorian-like feel. They introduced the main characters pretty fast and we get to see a little bit of their past. I take this show as a supernatural mystery so expecting a lot of development for the story. There's also some slight fan service although I didn't find it distracting. That Kou Josef Hiraga is such a mysterious dude tbh, really hope we learn more about him. Seems like a pretty serious show without any comedy. Some of the scenes in the second half gave me really eerie vibes. |

| This was okay. I need to watch a couple more episodes before I think I can decide whether or not I'll continue with this. The manga doesn't look to be popular at all (low readership, not many ratings, etc), so I don't really know much about this series. The anime series is also has the genre tag of shounen..so perhaps we'll see more action later? I was hoping this would be kind of like Trinity Blood... but this seems a lot more chilled. Although I don't think it would be fair to compare the two, since Trinity Blood has lots of violence and vampires. The only similarities are the Vatican and Christianity focus. |
| The episode did a good job at setting the tone I can expect from the rest of the series. Although I'll need to see how the current case is settled to decide whether I think the anime will be good or just average. |
| Seems promising to me. I like the premise of corruption/evil versus good/purity. There's already quite a ton of mystery and a slew of shady characters wearing the robes of Catholicism. Quite a bit of infodumping but that can be forgiven if it moves us to where we need to be. |

| I was having fun watching it even though it was fascinatingly fast paced...but i am THE asshole atheist so that made it even more fun for me. I even liked the OST. but tbh all my expectations for this is a lot of yaoi priest doujinshi |
| Wow, it surprised me that there's so many people here who seem to not like this. :^ Personally, I love the premise and mood (even though some of the scene-changes were a bit awkward, but that's only a minor issue). The protagonists seem interesting, too - though I hope that the show won't end up relying too heavily on the supernatural elements and will, instead, offer up some of that good ol' science/realistic-explanations. |

| tbh I've always wanted to see an anime like this, so even if I'm getting a little ahead of myself I've given it a nice 8 so far. Here's to hoping it lives up to it. |
| A decent start: decent characters designs and good background drawings, nice music (a bit annoying for me once), a fairly simple miracle case at first intertwined with murders, the mystery doesn't immediately play the supernatural card (I hope most cases will be supernatural proved false, except maybe one with a vague enough conclusion to evocate the possibility) 4/5 Based on this article, the first case won't be closed in two episodes so I guess we won't get many cases (in other words novels) animated. @Leo_10 I wouldn't expect supernatural in the sense of purely fantastic here, maybe one or two cases will leave a doubt about it, but it will be mainly about debunking "supernatural" cases. |

| Yay Okamoto Nobuhiko uses Karma voice! <3 I was lost on all those infodumping and the religion stuff but this anime is such an eye candy to my eyes. The OP and ED is good. To be honest, my main reason watching this is because my favorites seiyuus plays both the main characters. I content to just listening to the MC's talking and looking at the pretty art for now. The ED animation is so cute (Hiraga blushing and all)! I'm loving it. I hope more mystery and some action to come :> I wonder how old are the MCs? and no I don't totally ship them already |

| It was okay-ish. I found it way too fast-paced though, too much info without proper connection. The second half was better, but still overall messy. Don't know how to comment on the religious elements, not something you see in anime often. Not a fan of the nature of the first case, it was kinda weird choice for a first episode. I hope it won't turn into gay shit and continues with the serious note. Could have potential to be a decent watch. |

| I was rolling my eyes at all the "miracles" happening left and right. The second coming of Jesus, the stigmata, the statue crying etc. but the priest being sacrificed for satainc ritual and a possible affair between the sister and Franceso dude got me interested again. |

Everyone has to introduce themselves when they first appear which made for some hilarious scenes. The conversations are feel very contrived to the point it's silly. There is no flow at all. |

| The anime has a good story, great music and a well-adapted scenario, however ... What was that rug of the 14 minutes to the end !? It seems that they accelerated the anime and did not stop anymore, like I was watching a trailer. The characters are also very clichés and stereotyped, which does not please much, but I will continue to see why I trust the studio and the story seems interesting |

| There was so much imagery. The art and OST is pretty good. A lot of characters were introduced. Father Klaus got killed and Robert and Hiraga are going to figure out what happened. |

| Very different. It definitely feels like it took inspiration from the 90s, both the good and the bad. Unfortunately I just found it very boring. I'm hoping I see something that entertains me more next week. |
