It was done mostly to get people to read manga (and do it its great) but at this point no one knows if there will be a new season most likely not. Plus the studio is new I doubt they have enough of a budget to make a second season.
Manga is really rewarding to read. 1)The art is gorgeous its really gorgeous just to look at it. 2) Ecchi scene and lewdness uncensored. 3) For the story and the characters.

Also there is a guy(probably a manga fan) who made this thread on reddit
https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/6hzozv/nsfw_spoilers_to_those_who_watched_tsugumomo_and/
That might interest you in the manga.

The events that chronologically happen in the source just after those moments were definitely great. They should at least make an OVA for those. Also, if a second season hook was done, it would've been

I can't speak to the quality of the source but the anime series was pretty bad in terms of writing. The production value was decent enough, but the series couldn't create and keep a mood. In that sense it was all over the place. It didn't know what it wanted to be.

As Hirugiku said, subpar adaptations like this tend to be designed to get people reading the manga, or at least to get people to look into the source to figure out what was left out in the very obvious gaps in the anime series. The goal is not to sell BDs or get another season.

It honestly deserve a second season more than Danmachi did, or moreso than what Danmachi ended up getting (alternate retelling.)

Idk what kind of answer you're expecting when you make these threads season after season. Unless any of us have inside connections or firsthand knowledge of that kind of information, or unless there's an announcement right after the show ends, none of us can realistically say yes or no to that question.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.

MAL is literally just anime Twitter as its own website lol.

Doesn't look like we will.
Help the industry and buy Blu-rays and DVD's.
Noragami is the best anime ever.

To be fair it was meant to be pretty bad in terms of writing none of the manga fans expected this season to be good considering the manga doesn't get good until later in the story.
