| Put it simply some anime shows don't get second season no matter what. |

| Because it's actually good and the anime community has awful taste. |
| Because someone important decided to not make a second season of the show. It could be the creator of the source material who doesn't want anymore because they thought it was bad, the publishing company of the source decided they only wanted one season to boost light novel sales and they don't care enough to make another season so they won't fund one(because these guys are the ones who provide the cash for a studio to animate.) If it's one of those reasons, unless they randomly change their mind, the show will never get a second season and you should quit hoping for it. As for sales, the show sold decently. |

| maybe because the show had bad quality? who am i kidding of course it is because the producers never though that making a second season would give them any money be it by increasing sales of the source material or because of blu ray sales |

| I think it's the fact that anime like this, and some others such as No Game No Life exist to advertise for a light novel. No matter how popular this anime or others are, it is not very likely that it will get a second season. |

I mean, there is more than enough of material of Hataraku to adapt in multiple OVAS´s or S2... |
