| Setting doesn't appeal to me. Characters and their voices are cliché and most of all terribly annoying. Characters who are supposed to be sword themselves (seriously? there was another show about girls being guns that I dropped) don't even know how to perform a proper noto (sheating of the sword). Going to drop this instantly. Too bad. It would have been nice to have a show that did more with various types of Japanese swords and other cold steel weaponry. Also, if only this anime and its animation was how the Ikeda Inn flashback was,.. |

| I thought this a pretty cute start. My wife got me into the very elaborate and detailed sword designs. A LOT of characters and personalities to establish very early, but I found this to be a delightful beginning. Some generous, well-meaning comedy makes this pretty heartwarming, even if I've seen these jokes before. Not super high marks, but I look forward to viewing more. With Cute High Earth Defense Club and Bakematsu Rock, bishounen light comedy is becoming my new favorite thing. |

| Kinda actually like the 1st episode, the pacing though was kinda moderate - fast, music/sfx were okay. OP and ED songs are great ((gotta wait for the full version)) looking forward for the next episode |

I will not dropped this I think it's pretty enjoyable for males too, especially if you're into Japanese history. If not, you'll learn about it. It is not yaoi. They leave it pretty open for the audience, which is why the "Saniwa" is left anonymous, because they also have many male fans playing the game too, so it really is for everyone who likes swords/historical themes, and not just girls. This. You don't see many (if any) posts in yuri/moe/ecchi/harem anime with people saying "too lesbian" or "where da guys at?", haha. Meanwhile... every "fujoshi" anime has several posts of people complaining about it being too gay even if there's no romance at all, or if it's a female protagonist/reverse harem/shoujo. =_= Double standards. |

| Animes like this with a lot of characters is a problem if they don't make it work. To me, this first episode was a total mess. 18272826 characters, they were puking the story you know? They told but at the same time, they don't. The graphics are good, very "japanese" (not being xenophobic), which is the reason that i'm watching, this "japanese scenery, i like a lot lol. The characters are like, okay, they're weapons so they could look like a boy or a girl and at this point is something good but I think that having a female person there could be good. |

| To be honest I only started with it because Temari-sensei talks about the game all the time and is a huge fan of Hasebe so I wanted know what sort of character this Hasebe guy is. I think I can understand now, Hasebe is kind of like Gunter, a funny and enjoyable character (at least from the 1st ep). |

| I liked it but for some reasons I thought the voices of the characters would be different, maybe its only me. So far it's good but I'm excited to see whats gonna happen next |
| Not really into the story but I really love the chara design (most of them look like girls) and I'm going to keep watching for that sole reason. It actually will be the first time I do that for this reason... But I was expecting something totally different. It does feel like the cute spin off of a badass show but it doesn't exist (yet?). |
| bahhh REMINDS ME OF KANCOLLE!! They even made the gameplay more obvious with Ishikirimaru getting a moderately wounded label LOL I really like how there's more hinting about the game itself as to when I watched Kantai Collection. It really feels like I'm watching a similar thing, and I can appreciate their daily lives too! I never knew Touken Ranbu had a very interesting story about how they're trying to prevent the Abyssals from altering the course of history I'm totally down for this now that I found out there are swords like Namazuo (and Midare) * w *  |

| They're human forms of weapons that people used throughout history. Let' admit it... this show is fujoshi fodder. Every single androgynous guy in this is just begging to be mount or be mounted. Almost every single guy looks like a trap. Oh my, oh my. |

| The first episode was fun to watch but I have to say... this anime wasn't what I thought it would be. I've never played the game this was based on so I know nothing about this series when I got into it so it surprised me. :p |

| where are the girls? not to make couples or for the visual honey, but because, you know, we do exist and we don't need to be paired with men to be there??? i don't mind the fujobait and the feminine looking characters, but idk this feels weird. |
