it`s based off the same setting but that`s about it.

You don`t have to watch the other seasons of Working to watch this one but I recommend watching the other seasons of Working because this one is probably not going to be as good.

100% yes. That version is based on ... I can't remember if it was the pilot or simply the before manga of Working!!
And with that being said. Because it's the predecessor of Working!! who has become the successful popular manga/anime that it is (unlike it's predecessor)

... Easy choice. Watch Working!! first. And maybe enjoy that later.
I myself have become a fan of the anime Working!! first to later on read the manga to see any differences or the next. Even though I haven't passed from where the anime is yet. And from the special episodes or rather announcement preview videos I noticed different characters. The predecessors which I searched and found out from MAL. I never read the manga. I think I maybe skimmed through it or + maybe judged from those previews that they're less interesting then Working!! and with the manga being very short I care even less.

But as a fan I'll check it out and see if it's good. I might be off on some things so just look into it from its manga database.

If you have the time you should watch the OG anime, this spin-off doesn`t look so good but hopefully it`s filled with jokes and does great trough the season.

Different store, different characters. Shouldn't be to bad. Never hurt to watch it and see what chaos ensues. A lot of you guys have such a low expectations. Why do you even watch anime anyways?
What if the Hokey Pokey is what it is all about?

This was the first Working!! the author worked on and it was published on internet. So the other Working is actually a spin-off of this. Either way you won't lose anything save for a few possible references. While you're at it I highly recommend yu watch the other 3 seasons too, they're great.

It just share the same universe and a liitle bit Cameo from Original characters. Nothing more than that... so far.

... Correction:

This www.Working!! is the predecessor of the first animated Working!!
It's the same restaurant, with different characters. Working!! was first published in 2004 and ended in 2014. This one in 2002 and still actually publishing.

Watch Working!! ... why wait weekly when you can marathon the same great style of the author's great work.

Those aren't prequels, this one is spin-off with different cast.

Nope, this one is the original while the others are the spin-off.

I actually watched 'Working!!' first but dropped it by episode 6, and tried this one instead. The introduction of the character Inami in 'Working!!' seemed to derail my interest in that series pretty fast. But I liked the general atmosphere of the WAGNARIA restaurant and a lot of the quirky supporting characters, outside the hyper-violent Inami and the punching bag Male MC Takanashi. The eccentric staff reminded me a lot of a less foul-mouthed version of the 'Shenaniganz' restaurant staff from the 2005 Ryan Reynolds comedy 'Waiting...'. The way 'www.Working!!' replaced the MCs really worked for me and helped pique my interest better than 'Working!!' I guess in the manga continuity this series is actually the original story that spawned the spinoff which got animated first.I definitely enjoy the interactions of MCs Higashida and Miyakoshi in this over MCs Takanashi & Inami in 'Working!!'
