| Nothing new, but fairly enjoyable nonetheless. I don't think I will end up liking this as much as Haikyuu!!, but it should be a fun enough ride. The MC's permanent blush marks really bug me though. |

| I love how Tsukushi refers to it as futsal while Jin says soccer lol meh, it's all the same i guess... MAPPA animation is superb as usual, i can't complain about anything in that regard seriously it's beautiful. Story's good so far i hope it doesn't deviate from the manga too much. I can't wait to see actual games, or at least have more of the team introduced bc i need me some Mamoru Miyano <3 |

| Loving the OP song, also the headbutt at the start was unexpected. Not a fan of the girl who showed up with him, seems like her only purpose was to act as some sort of cheerleader. Really not a fan of the MC, i find him quite generic and boring.That being said i'll stick with it for now, at first i wasn't too keen on Major or Cross game but those both turned out to be my up there with my favorite sports anime. Also that crying at the end was just dumb, crying because someone that you just met said you did a good job, really? Overall it just seems too over dramatic, it gives me similar vibes to Diamond no ace in that regard, which is something i ended up dropping rather early. Then again the MC doesn't irritate me as much as Ren initially did in Ookiku Furikabutte, which turned out to be one of my top 5 sports anime, so hopefully this MC will grow on me over time. |

| I tried to give this a try since I liked football, ended up surprised because of the gay vibe... lol nah, so far this anime is just compilation of sports anime tropes. Though I was surprised too about the long haired guy, with the way he looks you'd expect him to be some kind of jerk/delinquent. It's like everyone is so nice. |

| oh gosh this totally was love at first episode for me lmao i already love the characters and can't wait to see them growing and growing, i just hope the character development will be good and satisfactory ♡ i like a lot how tsukamoto was presented here, i already can say that what i love about this character is his will to keep on trying, how he keeps on going and going, about kazama, i... i don't have words, i just know the both of them will have a great friendship and i just can't wait to see what's coming our way (i feel so excited lol) i haven't felt like this watching an anime in a while, it's so refreshing and i just want the whole team to appear and to suffer with them, laugh with them and just basically see how they keep on improving, i feel like a mom lol, gonna wait! |

| Football was always a hard sport for me to watch boy is this MC insane reckless is one easy way to put it ,though it is the typical underdog trope hopefully there's something that sets this one apart. art is nice looks like this will hold me over till Haikyuu |

| Always been a sucker for Sports anime and band of brothers bonding, but the blushing in this series was a tad... disturbing... was it like this in the manga? That said, I'm hard-pressed to believe that he could even run with those blisters and welts on his foot. He should be bleeding all manners of disgusting liquids by that time.... That was kind of sickening... Not really sure what the girl's role in this show is yet, she doesn't strike me as the childhood love interest for Tsukushi, nor does she seem to pique the romantic interest of Jin, so... whats her purpose exactly? |

| From what I had seen of the NHK report on manga sellers recommendations a few years ago, I thought Kazama was supposed to be a loner who happens to save Tsukushi from bullies, here he seems to pick him up because the hero looks "weak-minded". The pasted synopsis isn't good for the anime by the way. The second bullies event was also removed, I think (but I don't even remember it anyway). Anyway, if it turns out to be better than a simple pastime, I'll read it. Seeing how he can revives motivation around him, he's destined to become some kind of "mascot" who will tract the team when the players are down. 4/5 |
| Very nice. MC has a lot of tenacity and perseverance. I think he'll end up being a striker or something. Rather than Haikyu or Yowapeda, it feels like Eyeshield 21 but I'm not quite sure what our MC's secret talent will be other than his perseverance... I think I'll like Battery over this but we shall see~~~ Also, I love the ED theme! Looking forward to next week. |
| The episode was fun eve if it was quite cliché , the comedy is not Hajime no ippo level but still quite funny. Lacks the impact Haikyuu has but there was no actual game yet but there's time for that. Gay vibes are still vague and bearable. The only bothersome thing was "soccer" :( |

| Eh... I don't know if it's because of the annoying MC or because of the fact that football is one of my least favorite sports... but I really couldn't get into it Let's just hope the massive amount of fujoshit service will make up for it |

| I'm not a soccer fan, but anime can make me like anything ! ;D It was a good first episode, though I'm not entirely sure I'll keep watching. The main characters are interesting, but Tsukushi a little bit cliché in my opinion. Happy to hear Ochako-chan ! c: <3 |

| Don't really tend to watch sports anime at all, and football isn't exactly a sport I like, but this was more enjoyable than I thought it would be. Pretty decent first episode. |

| Pretty solid start with great visuals and soundtrack. Football anime~ Nice OP song too! Looking forward to more intriguing character interactions and development! MC is such a brave guy getting all hurt lol. |
