Pretty good ep... Akizuki is a total badass! Looking forward to seeing more fighting scenes...
Seems to be a decent series, I think I'll keep watching. ^^

In order to understand what's happening I had to google almost every single person or place mentioned in this anime... great series so far, awesome fighting scenes ^^

Yes, decent story, but why did they get into the world of plays when they actually wanted revenge ? That kind of doesn't help them at all ... if it wasn't for Akizuki everyone in the troupe would be dead by now >.>

Looking at Hario was like having acid poured directly into my eyes. Man, was he UGLY, or what? Glad he's dead now!!

The fight scenes are amazing!!!

More than just a "decent" episode. I didn't like much tha first ep, but this one really made me like this anime. First thing first - we got more concentration on the main characters(I guess that it was a-must to show the details of the "scene" in the first ep =\) and I already like Akadzuki, and the leader of the troupe is kawaii(it can't be helped). The music made get into the atmosphere too well, and the glance over some fights really helped for this episode to make me like it. Surprisingly and contrasting to the previous ep, I just could do nothing more than just to download the next episode immediately(=\).

I kind of regret Hario's death, 'cause he was kind of cool - ugly, but still seemed like a good fighter, I expected him to die later on.

Way to go, this anime will probably get a high score in my list.

Actually, I think it makes perfect sense. They were on a man hunt, so needed to travel regularly and gather information. A theatre group makes the perfect cover from moving from city to city without arousing suspicions.

As to their lack of combat abilities to get the job done, fair enough; you are right to say they are lucky that Akizuki was hunting the magic head nearby. They were also lucky that the hired rifleman distracted Genma at the final moment when he was about to kill again.

For me it's a shame a powerful adversary didn't get a climactic duel scene, but his ranged sword technique was rather imbalanced.

If Akizuki wasn't there, the troupe would have been massacred...or not since there was a third party sniper.

Very good episode. And I really like the ending song. I think Akizuki is similar to Luke Ainsworth. They look alike and are both fighting an evil/demonic presence and those who try to use it.

This episode explain a little bit the troupe's motive and conclude the Hario chapter, I wonder what are they going to do now after having their revenge ?, also paur Ebisu he was the same age as Kakunojou, but now that they're all grown-up she looks like his big sister,
It's really hard to keep track of the characters's names, but I love the historical theme of this series so I'll try to remember them.

Hario was dealt with more easily than I was expecting. I do like that some of the troupe members are composed of revenging people affected by the Ansei Purge, including Ebisu, Yuyama and Zagashira.
