| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So we finally get some more focus on Ikaruga.. Not sure why I found the action part to be funny until Ikaruga got involved as well. I think as the most mischievous member of the squad, she brings a rather weird vibe to the team. Kinda felt bad for Mari and the others though. Arc felt rushed again. Ikaruga's past seems somewhat interesting, at least for someone her age at the time.  Oh God, that Ikaruga/Takeru scene. |

| So Suginami had a dark past as well, though not that surprising seeing her personality. I also have to say that cliffhanger was nice though it seems Kusanagi wasn't expecting that. Then there was the seen with the mafia they where shooting an awful lot of bullets and the missed all of them like they where aiming somewhere else. Another question is why where the girls locked up naked in that cel? I can understand having them remove their clothing but wouldn't you normally give tem something to wear instead. Unless you have some form of perverted hobby. |

So she has a twin, a tragic backstory,...and a strong desire for sex apparently. :D Seriously where the hell did that come from? :D Well them in that bed at the end was already suggestive enough, but then that end...good lord. :D I don't think I realized just how massive her chest was either. :D Of course they won't actually have sex for some reason, the MC will push her away. But that whole development was random as hell, not to mention rushed, much like this entire episode. Elves? Lost Matrix? Alchemist? Rogue branch? Being captured naked? Whaaa? Breathe show, give time to breathe! :D Still not as bad as last week's possession garbage, but this could have been done better. But it was certainly...something. :D |

I seem to remember reading something about animals having a tendency to breed more frequent if there is danger (to themselves or their offspring) than otherwise. (no idea of the exact wording) Maybe it is somewhat similar. Oh that's definitely the excuse they were going for, and they tried to justify it further by stating the two go back the farthest this week with that mini flashback but...c'mon now. :D |

| So I was already thinking why her savehouse was what seemed like a love hotel...and than daaaangg. She´s thirsty as fuck ! But in all seriousness I can totally understand why she would want to experience sex once before her possible death and Kusanagi is not that bad for it either he is a nice guy and just look at them aaaabs. Her backstory was decent, pretty sad, especially that part where her "child" died (I think it did, even though they didn´t show it on screen for obvious reasons). The best thing was that we got to see the crazy ass blonde guy again...I really hope he get´s killed in the most horrendeous way imaginable. Side note: Anyone else feels like their uniforms kinda look like they are inspired by the Nazi uniforms in WWII? I mean the Nazis were douches and all but boy looked they spiffin´. |

The episode implies Ikaruga created by using the Lost Matrix though, but the poor baby looks to have gotten killed like Isuka said it would if was discovered since it had no magic power. | Hahahahahahahahahaha. I about died at that ending, how nonchalant about it she was. "Of course that's what I meant. Why would you be flustered?" basically. I guess there's no hope for slowing down the pacing now past the halfway mark. Still, good development. After this arc resolves, with all of the girls' arcs done, I wonder what they'll get into (unless this arc leads straight into endgame war). |

| Great episode, I was curious to know about the past of Ikaruga, and how she met with Takeru, seemed quite interesting, moreover, this final was really good, I look forward to seeing this development in the next episode, every time I'm more interested in this plot .. |

| This series is too safe to actually have a baby die in it (or implied to have). We'll see grown up Kanaria at some point, mark my words. I'm betting wood elves grow twice as fast as humans too for some random excuse to have her around a similar age to the other characters. |

| This arc is appearing pretty interesting, it seems like there's another organization who can match the Inquisition. Now that Suginami has been developed to a character that is sympathetic but puts her own safety foremost, I'm really starting to like her, considering how few of those characters there are in anime nowadays. And there are elves in this universe too...Like I said, that baby is probably coming back as a teenager. I do wish the worldbuilding was done a little better, it seems like certain cliches are being thrown in with a lack of explanation, but I sure hope they don't rush this arc. Please give me more Mari fanservice scenes next episode. Thanks. |
