I dont mind some erotic scenes but IT sEEMED A BIT TOO MUCH? I'm not sure because I haven't read it so can you give me your opinion?~ |

| Having just finished the manga (and I've seen the anime as well), I'll say this: it's very high on fanservice. It works to some degree, but if that kind of thing bothers you, stay away. On the other hand, the story is still there and is still very good. If the fanservice doesn't bother you, it is definitely a worthwhile read. |

If one thing felt a little off, though, the teenager arc felt like it ended a bit too soon, but I don't think it really lost anything as a result. It definitely goes from the beginning all the way to the very end. |

Sorry for the confusion, my mentioning of the anime was only to say that I don't remember the anime in full detail, so I'm going based on what I do remember of the anime. |

| Alright guys, I've started reading the Manga and it is utter shit. It takes the original and skewers it completely, modifying scenes, skipping timeskips, ignoring characters, adding unecessary scenes, and best of all, sexualizing little children. I'm one third in and all I can say is what the fuck. So many of the original scenes were changed and the horror and mysterious mood is completely gone. They actually changed the plot. I've never see an adaptation do this, other than FMA and Akame ga Kill. And even those were okay changes. I am so dissappointed. The only reason to read the Manga was if you wanted to analyze/review it or you just wanted yuri ecchi to fap to. |

| I am reading the manga, and I am at the end of chapter 7 and... OK is has some ecchi but, it is far to be a hentai. You can't fap to this, the scenes are like 2 pages and we see nothing sexual other than kiss and touching.I hear that the novel is full of that ... So the manga could be more couldn't put nothing, they are nesseary for the understanding of relation between character and sexuel orientation. The art is just beautiful and some panel give you all the feeling that 100 word couldn't describe. The expression on character are awesomely done. I prefer the eyes in the manga than the anime. In conclusion stop saying shit of this manga and read a real hentai before say something like it's boku no pico! Ohhhh and I the ecchi is romantically oriented so this a lot better then a lot better.For mention I will look the anime soon |

| I thought it was great. 8/10 from me. Funny how all these posts hate on the manga when it was written by the novel's author. Means he signed off on the entire thing. All these posts about it being hentai, did you miss the part where sexual activity is heavily promoted in their society? Of course it's going to include sexy times. |

| I just finished watching Shin Sekai Yori which was an emotional anime above anything. Then I get to see the covers of the manga, just to find that they look more ecchi than Shokugeki no Soma. Like wtf are they thinking? I guess the power of imagination changes everything. |
| Right after the anime? No. Before watching the anime? No. Some time after the anime, and with limited expectations? Sure. When I just came off the anime, I dropped the manga in a heartbeat. Coming from the simple artstyle and muted colors of the anime, the manga looked like generic unfulfilling pseudo-porn cashgrab. Coming back a year later, I quite liked it. It sold the whole bonobo angle a lot better than the show, by them actually having sex freely as a response to stress, or for simple bonding. It wasn't consistent in that regard but it got the idea across. I didn't mind not seeing the guys do it, but it should have been implied more clearly early on that they do. And hey, Yuri is nice. The porn is well drawn, it's all consensual, everyone's having a blast and it ties in with the character relationships, development and worldbuilding, albeit not too gracefully. Still, good characters having good sex with good art as part of a good story is not exactly an oversaturated market. Good manga. |
| People have sex all the time. Doesn't mean they have to show it all the time, or for splurges of 20 or so pages of nude yuri cuddling. There is getting a point across and clearly writing for boner material. |

| The manga isn't that much different than the anime until the last few chapters. The mood of the manga is unlike the anime due to the ecchi, but the plot structure is like the anime's. It's a good fun manga imo with the ending it got. If people are looking for a carbon copy of the anime in which case they'll just have to rewatch that. I'm amused this is a Shōnen manga Yusuke Kishi worked on. |

The strongest point of Shinsekai yori is its story and it was butchered in the manga. Either read the novel or watch the anime. Seriously. The manga is the lowest version. |
| Anyone that wants to experience the awesome setting and plot of the series should either watch the anime or read the book, then if you enjoyed Saki x Maria and wanted more yuri, you can either read this or just give it a good eye, searching for all the fanservice, and have fun solely from that, would not recommend wasting time on this for purposes other than its nice artistic expression of the woman body, from what I have seen. |

| I don't know what drugs some people were on while reading this manga to think it's not different than the anime—because it so painfully is. Pretty much everything about the anime, the sequence of events, the characters, the tone, the atmosphere, has been altered in some sort of way, and the changes are so fucking awful.... Although there were a few light-hearted scenes, the anime always maintained a dark and solemn atmosphere that perfectly suited the themes that were tackled. But in the manga, the storyline has a weird comedic vibe to it for some reason, which ruins any kind of immersion whatsoever. The tone of the content is all over the place. |
