| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- A worthy conclusion. Harlock being a fake one didn't surprise me, I think in the previous episode there was a scene with his body briefly revealed. Although if he's called a cyborg, that implies he had organic material as well so where did that come from? I had a hunch the mystery man might be the real Harlock, not sure why. But why did he not take care of the impostor himself? And did Maetel really think the fake was the real one? |
| Really liked this miniarc, awesome to see the Arcadia take off! Also I know this anime have flaws (that I usually just ignore) but how the hell did that guitar not also get old and destroyed like the chair and everything else in the time advance? I just found that funny. |

| I liked how the whole three-parter hinged on the fact that fake Harlock could be a possible future Harlock (and we're lead to that by Maetel like Feorg said, but also because Tetsurou possibly having Tochirou's gear could mean an old Harlock). It shows lucidity about the hero condition, as in the end the hero is just a human being subject to the decay of time (morally as well physically). |

| Epic episode, that ending was just too impressive! To know that the real Captain Harlock was watching the whole process in the shadows! Really great arc I must say, it's really getting good. Let's see what's next. |

| I figured that the Harlock Maetel was fighting had to be fake. I'm glad that I was right. Nice to see the Arcadia again, even if for only a brief moment. |

| This Arc with Captain Harlock is great. I loved it. Haven't watched Captain Harlock yet, but because of this arc. I have decided to also watch that after this. I kind of want to know Maetel & Captain Harlock's past. (Hope It will be told.) |
