I haven't read anything about the upcoming boruto movie so i'm asking this: do you guys think boruto will have his mother's byakugan? personally i'd really love to see him compete against sarada's sharingan. another new rivalry will begin XD

Would be pretty neat if he had the Byakugan, though nothing seems to be pointing in that direction for the time being. I'm more curious as to whether or not he may have part of the nine-tails power within him.

I don't know if this is right. From what I learnt in high school:

Naruto x Hinata

(xb y) x (xB xB)

(xb) x (xB)
(y)

xB y (son with Byakugan)
xB xb (daughter with Byakugan)

Both the kids should have Byakugan.

Kishimoto actually said in an interview that he accidentally forgot to give Bolt and Himawari the Byakugan, but if Naruto and Hinata were to have a third child, he or she would then in turn get it.

I think this pretty much disproves the theory that the Byakugan can only be gained via Hyūga incest such as the case with Hinata’s parents, who both possessed the dōjutsu in question.

Kishimoto is really throwing away good ideas.... the kids having byakugan would have been amazing, especially considering they're from the Hyuga main branch being Hinata's children. :p

I think only if both parents had pure Hyuga bloodline then the children would have the Byakugan

Why??? Himawari can fight as much as boruto.
She can learn naruto techniques. even not having byakugan, she can fight.

I'd completely forgotten that Naruto's daughter even existed...

I really want Boruto to get the byakugan, but it seems like it's too late. It doesn't have the 'awakening' necessity like the sharingan, does it?

So he should have had it already. The daughter doesn't look like she has it either. Pity, really.

I dont think do you know why is because in the movie when he sad and angry he doesnt unleash the byakuggan.

I thinks he will get the sage mode,nature chakra (without kote) or thunder of god. Because it still be a familly uzumaki distantly related to asura his ancestor

Thunder of god because he smart to use the kunai of his grandfather
Nature chakra because he will be test by konohamaru
100% rasengan
Sage mode because he is the son of naruto and i dont know what animal can be or race (buddha)
Or even asura power because we said the power asura is team work and believing no kuruma

This is my take on it. Since Masashi Kishimoto originally fucked up on not giving both children of Hinata Byakugan then I'm sure he'll find a way for Boruto to unlock it or learn how to use it. For instance, let's say Hintata locked away borutos byakugan because she was afraid of it being to power for him or some shit. Masashi, can make up whatever he wants too make up for what he didn't put in originally and if for any reason it doesn't happen, it'll be extremely disappointing.
