| i really enjoyed this ep! personally i don't mind that it was slower than usual as truly fulfilled my expectations on character development and feelings and athmosphere. also, now i feel like that it's really more than gunfights and shot-and-run duels. DEEPER. |
| Great episode. Finally they revealed alot of stuff. So Kirika and Chloe is the true Noir. Mireille's parents and organization are confirmed to be part of Soldats. Just as when we're about to know more info, info get's lost again :X Can't wait for the next episode! |
| One of Noir's signature traits, among its defining calling cards, is its episode previews. With "Salva Nos" (literally the ultimate "shit's about to go down" song) playing in the background, the intensity is already at a fever pitch. What Noir does to increase this intensity is abruptly transition from one exceptionally dramatic still shot to another, not allowing the viewer's mind to process what just occurred. The episode previews in Noir have always been excellent but the one for episode 17 rises far beyond the others. There's betrayal. There's loneliness. There's enigmatic appearances from the shadows. There's tears from someone who never sheds tears. It's all done with an otherworldly desire to devour your heartstrings in one stroke. This brilliant work of art is something you'll have to witness for yourself. |

| Didn't expect to see so many questions answered in just one episode with how slow-paced this show is, but I'm happy with that. The scene at the end of the episode was excellent. |

| Such a great episode. There's something about episode 17's in these older series, they always are used for making revelations or big plot advancements, LOL. Like others here, I'm thinking maybe the price the Bouquet's would have to pay for being the main player in Corsica was that Mireille would have to become a Soldat. When they refused, they were brought down. But how did she become a Noir then? Interesting chapters coming up |

Hopefully things will be properly explained, but I m liking the direction the anime is going for. Mireille wanted revenge on Soldats so bad, oh the irony... He probably saw 1-3 like like that, coincidences, and is assuming that, I have seen my fair share, never noticed that pattern. |
