Anyone know what happened to book 2?
It was scheduled for release this July according to a bookstore that I frequent, but now it's gone from their website.

Rightstuf still has it as coming out on June 22nd, but in 2010.

I'd look at ANN for any announcements pertaining to the series for a couple days.

I do hope they get their act together, there are supposed to be 10 books in the series, thats not including the side stories. If they are going at one book every two years then its going to take forever.

Actually if you go to their manga website and look for releases, it says:

ZAREGOTO
• v.1 (8/9/08) 978-0-345-50427-2
• v.2 (7/28/09) 978-0-345-50578-1

Link:http://www.randomhouse.com/delrey/manga/calendars.html

So really, it should be out by the end of the month...

I found an official looking (has the Faust "f" and the English logo, so I'm assuming it's official) cover for book 2:

I got an e-mail today from Amazon alerting me that it's available for pre-order, with a release date of 7/22/2010.

Jesus Christ, I'm going to be in my 40s by the time this series is done being translated.
Japanese cartoons and comics.

Wow that just plain sucks! They also removed the listing from their website. I think I might take up Japanese to at this rate lol.

Light novel franchises aren't popular enough, so releases of books are slow :/
Seven Seas even halted their production of light novel series because of low profits...

After shit just got real after the first half of the book, yeah, kubishime turned out to be more exciting than kubikiri.

Edit after done reading and my conclusion: Nisio has made the unthinkable doable. Unexpected conclusion.
