| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yum, Rossweisse in her armor this time. I think she looks good here in terms of character design:  It looks like we get more Loki trouble as well. Does this guy ever not cause some chaos? The action was pretty decent though imo with a variety of attacks displayed this episode. Not going to lie though, Loki's powers does impress me quite a bit. Oh poor Issei.. |

| Those Fenrir are brutal, they bit holes into Issei before he could get Thor's hammer and Loki is insanely powerful just owning everything around him. God damn that cliffhanger I wanted to Rias' true power. |

| No point talking about the LN anymore. The course of events has been completely changed and it is not so bad starting from this episode :). I just hope some major event involvong Akeno will happen |

| Two members from heaven and student council team joined up to fight against that Loki character again. That childhood girl became angel? Koneko accepted her family's power to try to use well. Fuku-kaichou, too, accepted her complexity after seeing Koneko's determination. Seems like Nojima-san's character and that megane long hair girl from student council has a thing a bit. Main guy getting the hammer and he got bitten. Everyone's crying for him. Buchou releasing her real power at the end? I'm curious how he survived as he seems alive in the preview. Koneko's sister and butler looking guy appearing next. |

| Rossweisse looks good with her armor. Issei always useless, he got the balance breaker but he didn't help his teams much. Since i have liked Vali Lucifer's personality and power. He should be a main character. |

| So I take it this didn't follow the LN at all, as in this never happened? Don't get me wrong the episode was awesome, dat cliffhanger and character development but does this season now not plan to follow the LN period? Confuzzling. |

They're merely setting up the first fight against Loki now, then they'll return to volume 5 and 6's storyline and then end with the final fight vs Loki. Anyway, best girl Rossweisse looked fantastic. Loki's a God, it's expected that he's freaking powerful. Fenrir just tore Ise apart, I'll have to watch with subs to understand why Asia and Gasper didn't come along. Angel Irina-chan was really great, and the fight itself was really well-done. |
| I was wondering why I don't remember this shit from the LNs. I thought it was because I read them a long time ago but seems like it didn't happen lol XD Still lots of fun though. Dat cliffhanger was quite something :O Rias is pissed!!! And so are the others! Arthur incoming nxt week :3 And Ise's new power too :P |

| Akeno and Koneko's character development seemed a little bit rushed and forced in the middle of the fight. That cliffhanger..... can't wait for the next episode |

| Ahahahaha WTF is this shit! This is becoming one of the worst LN adaptations I've ever seen. This adaptation is beyond saving now. Why the fuck are the skipping volume 5-6 and jumping straight to volume 7 where they fight Loki? They're making a joke out of Loki and Fenrir. Vali and his team are supposed to help Issei and others fight him. Stupid doesn't even describe this. And what is with the retarded Rias super saiyan scene? I can't contain my laughter anymore. I think I might be giving this season a 1/10 out of pure hate which saddens me. It's just shitting all over the source material now. |

| With this episode taking another approach on telling the story, I can't complain about the rushed pace anymore. The writers probably though it'd be for the best to change some things so it doesn't feel rushed anymore. Anyway, KODOKAWA! I feel infuriated by the animation you've shown us so far. In the previous two seasons of DxD, the desing, colours and animations were very good. But now I feel like your budget was cut too much, because it's visible through the hardly-moving characters. The only thing that's capable of moving is the mouth. You could think that with the money gathered from the 1st and 2nd season, you'd get the same quality. But that's Kodokawa for you. It's a gamble. Either the anime is great, or is mediocre. Sorry about this rant, but my inner-self couldn't stand this bullcrap anymore. The best thing in this episode is Koneko ending her sentence with -nyan after the Nekomata transformation. Too cute for me *.* |

| Rosweisse did a huge jump in the "hottest girl" in the harem sweepstakes with that uniform change. And despite the changes to the story, I liked that Kiba and the Queen from the other team got their moment together (it's touched upon in the novels, but I cannot remember it getting developed at all). |

| Badum-tssss...... And there goes the plot. Two volumes of materials skipped (or hopefully just switched around). Kiba you gentlemanly playa'! Making Shinra blush like that with those smooth words of yours, you deserve a medal! Issei really messed up bigtime with that last move. Still, considering that he was reaching for the one thing that could mess up Loki's plans, you'd think that they would actually protect him a bit better "just in case" shit like that happens to hit the fan. That said, you kind of wonder a bit about tactics on both sides, like why didn't Rias not just go berserk with her powers from the off? And why did neither team bring a single healer with them (they're fighting a God, for gods sake...... pun intended) And why did Loki not just attack Issei with all his familiars from the off, since without Issei there'd be no one to wield the Milojnir (I mean, unless Rias is suddenly able to do it herself next episode....)? And why did they not tell Issei beforehand that throwing them the Hammer through a port would be what they were gonna do? I'm seriously nitpicking here, because I miss my weekly dose of Oppai..... |

| Fenrir is after all one of top 10 strongest character in DxD. This episode is good. I'm not purist(except when it comes to R+V) and always welcome change for good. Especially when Ishibumi himself is the one that rearrange it. |
