| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- And I continue these threads. This was a fairly sad episode for most parts, except for the hilarious continuation of the Kouyuu x Shuurei pairing. Kouyuu as always wanders into his own little world as he worries about everything. And while SaiMono had a lot of male characters and next to no female ones except for Shuurei, I still didn't really want to consider it a reverse harem since only 2 guys at first seemed interested in her (that's a love triangle). Then we had Sakujun and now Kouyuu, Ryuuren and.. who knows who else. Okay, now it's definately a reverse harem. And on the more sad parts, I almost got teary eyed at the end of the episode as Eigetsu cried out for his guardian to rest in peace. I normally don't get sad for one episode developments like this (and a death of a character we just met)... but I dunno, I felt sad for Eigetsu. This coupled with the fact that a.) his family abandoned and was going to kill him (and he manages to say this all optimistically) and b.) HE'S DYING??!!! The youngest guy in the series and the most optimistic / innocent is the one who is dying? Ouch. Getting..too..dark...for me. |

| Amazing episode!! It's nice to see Eigetsu's backstory and how he manage to live a hard life just like Shuurei did back then. Doushu seems to be a nice person, though it does make him look like a fool if he's gonna let anyone deceive him even though he knows their intentions. I love the slight moves by Eigetsu and Kourin ^^ Seems Shuurei and the others are really pushing the Academic Research facility for the whole Saiunkoku to use. I lol'd about Kouyuu's craziness. He really might fall in love with Shurei O___O I don't get it. I thought Doushu died bedridden when Eigetsu was taking care of him. But now he actually was alive was supposed to deliver something to Shuurei and now he says Eigetsu is dying, possibly a disease of some sorts?? Man i wonder what will happen to Kourin!! T___T And yeah never seen Eigetsu break down like that. Man it would be heartbreaking to see Eigetsu dying towards the end!! Lots of new characters coming to the stage! Amazing stuff!! Can't wait for the next episode! |
