I just realized I kept calling him Kou instead of Yoh. Ha. That's what I get for staying up late and trying to have a conversation. xD
I finished it yesterday. The heroine isn't weak. She's pretty unique. She used to play softball, so she's actually physically strong and mentally too. In the beginning, her plan is just to get a boyfriend in high school since she focused so much on sports in middle school, but later when she finally gets in one, it's really cute how the two get along.
It's a pretty light-hearted manga and it's fun to read. xD
Yeah, I plan to read it. When I get around to it though, remains to be seen. xD
Koukou has 52 chapters. I'm on 34 now. It's not anything out of the ordinary, though. Just a typical shoujo so far. But I still like it, if only because of how hot Kou is. =D
Ah, so lazy! Tsk tsk.
I just actually got around to adding a slew of anime that I've watched but never added to my list yet. -_- I still have a dozen series or more to add but I'm kind of lazy myself. :3
Yeah. I don't really have anything against Skip Beat. I mean, I have been reading it for 140+ chapters now. It's pretty hilarious and I like most of the characters and the overall plot. It's just not anywhere close to being my favorites.
I'm reading Koukou Debut now and it's awesome. The male lead, Kou, is hot, too. xD And it's got alot of hilarious parts along with the cliche shoujo plots that I still can't get enough of. And it's done publishing, so I can read it all and get closure on it, unlike Skip Beat that will be publishing for who knows how long. xD
It's strange that your manga list isn't showing up, though. It says you have 0 manga read. :O
I decided to post here instead of ruining the Skip Beat thread. xD
The reason I love NANA is because I adore all the main characters, for some reason or another
I've never really happened upon another anime/manga where I've found that.
Also, since I love romance and over-dramatics so much, there's definitely a ton of that in NANA. Plus, it has kick-ass music and I like how it shows the hardships of getting into the music industry. It just feels a bit more realistic to me then other stories I've seen.
