For those who have seen Strawberry Panic, do you think Kashima is parody of Amane Ootori? Or at least was created as such in conception? Both female, blue haired, masculine, called a prince, and swooned over by a large majority of girls their characters seem really alike, even down to similar lines. While I haven't completed strawberry panic (or at least at the time of this post), they seem ridiculously similar. The only real noticeable difference between the two, is that Madhouse 2006 version of the "prince" is a serious romantic girl lover, where as in Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun she is hilarious and a fun character.

Does anyone else agree? Notice anything else very similar between the two? Not similar? Or anyone else who seems to be very close in concept to them too? Lets discuss! :)

Actually I think it's more so that Kashima is a parody of the trope. It's not a terribly uncommon trope to see the boyish girl that's charmed all the other girls.
