Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun
| I asked for comedy Anime and this one got recommended. But I'm on Episode 4 and it's extremely girly and unfunny. So drop or push on? I forced myself through Samurai 7 and School Days. |

| I'm having the same prob too @ ep 4 and I don't find it that funny. I think it's too early to drop though. I'll push through, I started the manga 2 yrs ago and dropped it so I might as well watch the anime. |

| I guess. I mean I am absolutely revolted by Samurai 7, but I finished it. School Days too.... I'll go to episode 7, then if it's still bad I'll play it in the background so I can say I finished it lol. |

| Got as far as episode 5 and it hasn't done anything for me either. Kashima is the only character that's interesting but she's just a supporting character and isn't enough of a reason to keep watching just for her occasional appearance. Nozaki looks really out of place for a high-school student. He looks like a college senior not some high-schooler. Maybe someday I'll give it another go. |

| This anime has a neccesary requirement of having contact with some/a lot of shoujo manga. After all, in a nutshell this is anime about making fun of shoujo manga and it's themes, a parody of sort. A parody isn't funny unless you know what is being made fun off. |

| I have to agree with OP, I found it extremely boring. I made half-way through the series, but there was no character development, no progress in the character's relationships, and no indication the show would go anywhere. I can deal with this type of show if it's legit funny, but it wasn't. I can see how it may have been mildly amusing if you watched it while it was airing and only got 20 min of it each week, but I would strongly recommend against trying to binge-watch it. |
| Stop watching it then. This show was quite charming for me, but i understand that not everyone will enjoy this series |
