She said she could regenerate her arms but it'd take years and they'd just be normal human arms.

Irene lives! And a whole lot of blushing.

Looking forward to the translation.

So it has ended, it's a bit sad, i was hoping that the girls somehow where going to the other continent and fight...

BUt it's a good ending, Clare the chance to see Teresa again and was able to be with Raki in the end, and also Irene is okay.

Amazing manga, the art and the history where amazing!

SO MUCH YES! OMFG! THIS ENDING!
At first, I was upset. Because I felt like the excuse not to go to the main land was a copout to end the series quicker. But..CARES GIVEN AT THIS POINT?!

I am sad that this manga has ended. I came into the manga late (about a year ago) but I loved reading this great story. Hopefully a reboot anime will happen and a sequel to the manga but I doubt any of those things will happen. So Irene is alive actually and the continent should be left alone now. I liked the two twins being all badass and I wish their characters were drawn out a bit more but I understand why they were not.
Sad to see it end a 8 or 9 out of ten from me

I am glad they didn't go to the mainland there's no reason for the Claymores to get involved in that war and now the ORG base was destoryed the dragons had no business on the Island.

I already feel nostalgic about this manga. T_T It's a perfect ending, but still I'm wondering about a possible sequel centered on the battle on the mainland. Anyway : thank you Yagi-sensei! :)

Good ending. Irene is alive.I want to learn more about the battle in mainland.
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion.

That's it huh? Happily ever after...certainly can't say I'm satisfied with this but I also didn't really expect anything great.

After following this series for around seven years (holy shit) I honestly don't know how to feel. On one hand this gave closure to pretty much all characters and their motivation to do things. On the other hand it still feels like it wasted some potential.

The series had it's ups and downs. It was absolutely FANTASTIC at times but over the last couple of years I didn't feel the excitement anymore. Overall I'll rate it a 8/10.

No more Claymore from now on. It feels weird, empty...gotta get used to it.

Could have, would have, should have.

As much as I think it could be executed better towards the end of the manga, I am also glad Teresa was 'brought back'. End of an era, I guess.

Eh the ending was underwhelming. At least Claire was able to realize Teresa was with her the whole time. Well, I'm not sure what to think of this tbh.

A good series overall. 7/10. I hope this gets adapted in anime form someday again.

I can't believe this has ended! I'd definitely miss this series. I still feel like Yagi unnecessarily hyped the Mainland, though... Nonetheless, great series overall.

and jfc Irene?!

I didn't expect Claymore to end before this arc. It had solid plot, a lot to see and the Continent to explore!

However this last arc really dropped down the quality. The manga was a masterpiece, but the last arc dropped it to a solid 8. :/

The ending wasn't so bad though, but it can't patch up a bad arc.

Finally translated. I loved Galatea's ending, drinking everyone under the table.

I feel strange. I've been following this manga for so long and now it's over. What am I gonna do?Claymore is quite unique.

The last 15 chapters or so where rather underwhelming, but that was because when this manga was good, it was brilliant. It's hard to grade it. Nostalgia pushes the grade up I guess.

Let's see what Yagi does next. I hope one day he can do a Claymore spinoff or side story.

The ending was good as it closes up all the lose ends and even gave them a reason NOT to continue with the mainland. Then again they might do the mainland as a separate story away from the Claymores under a different title, might have cameo or even mentioning of the Claymores. That would be interesting to read if it was true.

I wonder did the guy listen to people crying over the fact that Irene was possibly killed off screen and used it to tease everyone for the X amount of years?

I couldn't help but slightly cringe at the art of young Clare smiling while crying made me cringe....

Also when they all pat her on the head and she starts blushing it made her extremely cute!

Still this was a good ride for the last 7 years and I'll keep an eye on what kind of project he'll do next.

Until next time.

And it ended with plot holes as it was expected. And what's with leaving Rubel like that, what a way to finish the whole Dragon's Kin.

I used to like Claymore but it was one of those long manga that went downhill.

Ending was nice, though the Claymore's fight with Priscilla and Teresa wrecking everything was very boring. Also really disappointed that the whole mainland thing wasn't used outside of giving the organization some type of backstory.

All in all a 4/10 7...out of 10.
Here comes the change

well, well.. this manga.. not sure what to say. it surely is a staple, one with a lot of history. unfortunately i got lost somewhere in these past 155 chapters. not sure if it was the manga or my hiatus from it but damn.. was i lost. i didnt even realize that was irene (or who that even was) until i wiki'd it and was oh right, she wants to return her arm that she gave clare lol. in the end, im glad that it ended lol. the art was amazing, it definitely is an original manga but the monthly wait and the hard to follow story at times.. geez lol. overall, 7/10. it was good but not the most fluid read.

It feels like the author just could do it anymore and wanted to end it really, not that it was the desired ending.
First Claire was kept too weak during the whole procedure and gain super power to finish this all too sudden.
Second all the things like the talk about the continent, Riful 2.0 etc seemed like a useless mention now. What was their point anyway?

Loved the story, characters and personal resolutions achieved.

Still can´t help but to feel like something was missing. The ending was rather simple and a bit predictable, but it was nice, satisfying and I smiled at the end. I guess that means I liked it...?

9/10 (Mainly out of respect to how much I enjoyed it, could have been more.)

I think this ending in manga form is pretty lame. Obviously the author just tied up the ending pretty quickly... I think the ending would work better with music and stuff if adapted in an OVA/movie form. If you watch how Cowboy Bebop or Escaflowne movie end with it panning up the sky from the characters on the ground, it would make it seem like an emotional ending if they did that when they walk up to the cottage. I wouldn't want to see this ending with a TV credits roll/song right after it ... >.> that would make it as horrible as lame as it comes off in manga form. I don't like how the last still are flowers, and I think they should have made Irene's survival more of a 'guess' by only showing the back of her head and not make it so obvious. This ending was too simple for me, and I feel it could have been executed better but for some odd reason it wasn't.

This ending... another manga where the author got bored and had to rush it and not put any thoughts into the ending. This was my favorite manga up until the fight with Priscilla; they turned a seinen with realistic disputes and heavy emotions into a shounen with plot armour and cheesy melodrama. The author definitely just wanted to move on, but I feel that after 13 or however many years, he should have put more effort into the final chapters. I knew I felt something wrong when they brought back Teresa to life...

This turned into one big friendship manga, where everyone lived happily ever after and no sacrifices were made. Dare I say that the anime ending almost felt better than this (...nah that was a train wreck). At least they should have made a scene were Clare gave a hug to Raki or something. Well, whatever... Maybe they'll make a movie sometime down the line of this series.

Read the whole manga in 3 days, because I wasn't satisfied how the anime ended. But I also feel like the manga goes downhill from a certain point, still it was a memorable story.

Can someone explain me what was the thing that fought against Priscilla, I mean the Riful x Dauf awakened, was it their child or was it Riful that absorbed Dauf? It wasn't that well explained, so I'm confused about it.

so Priscilla was defeated because in Clare's mind Teresa is the strongest...?

weird to say goodbye to Teresa since her death is one of the best scenes, the number of survivors also way higher than expected, Clare can finally smile :)

i feel the manga reached its peak during the fight in the north where 24 claymores were slaughtered by the male Awakens

overall Claymore is still a great manga and is one of my all time favorites, even plan to collect the Japanese books since the dialogs are quite simple

I loved the ending. Having Clare's angelic Teresa defeat Priscilla in a very Teresa style was absolutely perfect, and just what I've wanted all this time. Honestly, Teresa is such a hero that she makes me tear up.

Galatea, Irene, Miria, Helen and Deneve all managing to make it through to the end was also a great feeling. I was disappointed that Tabitha died so fast that we didn't have time to feel sad. I somewhat related to her due to being a Miria fangirl.

I'm glad they didn't go the mainland, it was unnecessary for Clare's story.
