| Anime producer Aniplex opened a website called "Nagi-sama Official Fan Club Home Page". It's a US version of Nagi-sama Fan Club in Japan and is a reproduction of Nagi's fan club appeared in Kannagi anime. Aniplex announced that the website will be fully open in a few weeks and they will issue official members' cards to US Kannagi fans. 2,000 members' cards have already issued to Japanese Kannagi fans. | The site exists only as a fan made re-creation as something from his fave anime, not because its a fan club for nagi, but because the site was seen in the anime, and it was a re-creatable site.... That is my understanding... why anyone would create a fan-site at all, is obvious... when demand grows strong enough, there will eventually be something like a fan-site, for the purpose of adhering to the demand... which is why there is more then one site for raw manga, and more then one site for reading manga.... |

Aniplex is one of the companies that produced the Kannagi anime (check the Kannagi page here on MAL). This is the real deal and as official as something can be. It's not made by some single otaku somewhere in Japan just because he loves Nagi like some of the previous posters seem to believe. >.> With that said, I'd join the club if they allowed people from outside of the US too. ^_^ |
