It was good to hear Ikeda Shuuichi as Nanmi though it was sad he had died at the end. Nice one from Maetel, shooting Tetsuro and herself to save themselves from those tanks. She always has some tricks up to her sleeve.

I wonder how Conductor managed to save them since wouldn't his presence activated all tanks again? Well, they did take few mins to activate in the first time, so maybe it was same thing... But those tanks were slumber for 150(?) years, so that might have constituted to their slow start first time...

Also, how did he carry 3 people back to the train on his own? :D

So now they can't inconvenience other passengers for one passenger, but they were fine going back for Tetsuro a few episodes ago.

Looks like you should stay away from Tetsuro and Maetel if you're on the 999, coming into contact with them means almost certain death.

This is actually a pretty good episode, though a few bits of dialogue stuck in my craw. One was how this plan even worked- a stun gun is ideally not supposed to kill you, so if the computers are simply looking for life signs, the three should have been registered as living. A more precise explanation would have been they were put in critical condition and marked as non-threatening or something like that.

Maetel says "a normal person would not have survived" the blast from the gun. Is this an anti-cyborg weapon? Maetel, are you saying Tetsuro wouldn't die even if you killed him?

Kinda nice to have a planet name that ain't Japanese.

The drama this episode was once again hilarious, especially the first half with the panicking Conductor-kun going back and forth.

Sad ending, tho. Nanmi was really desperate. Unfortunately there's no real peaceful world.

As long as there are humans, there will be wars. This strong and touching sentence explains man's capacity to destroy everything, no matter the reasons for it. War power is something that, if misused, causes irreversible problems.

It's unfortunate that Nanmi had to die, and also did not find a suitable planet for his people.

We now know why the 999 no longer stops at that planet.

So, a guy takes a train hostage; says he's going to blow it up if they don't listen to his demands. Administration says they refuse.
Same guy, same episode, takes a single passenger hostage for the same reason. Administration says 'oh, we can't put a passenger's life in danger. listen to them'.
Not like they knew that the bomb was fake. And from the episode where the 333 was destroyed, the petrifying planet and the space pirate one, we can safely assume that everyone on the train dies if it blew up.
I can't take this show seriously.
