| First 19 minutes were downright terrible. no plot advancement at all in regards to the Hellmaster's jar and mostly teasing about the Amelia and Naga connection. Next episode doesn't look very promising either (made me remember that episode in TRY *cringes*). though I did get a laugh at Gourry's impressive deductive reasoning (2nd episode in a row! Have pigs sprouted wings and learned to fly?) |

| This episode felt kind of long, but it picked up in the end at least. Not quite sure what to expect from the next one. Hopefully it'll end with the team getting back on track with the plot line and getting into a fight or two with Zuuma or some other villain that carries for a few episodes. Filler enemies that only show up for one episode aren't really cutting it for me anymore. |

In general I haven't been feeling this series either, but I liked the dragon fight. Don't mess with a dragon that can play baseball (good thing he didn't seem to understand Japanese). One thing that bugs me about this series, though - Zelgadis just seems way off to me. Granted, it's been a few years since I finished TRY, but I don't remember him as the type that gets this worked up about a good fight. There was something last episode that bothered me as well - someone calls him a monster or some such, and he runs off going 'curse you Rezoooooo!' and spends the rest of the episode sulking. I mean yeah it's a sore point for him, but he's very childish in this series. |
| Wow. I can not believe how many times I head desked during this episode. Just teaser after teaser when it came to those Amelia and *cough* Naga. Sheesh. It just hurt so much. |

| The most sentimental episode Slayers has every turned in, and I like the characters enough to care. I laughed when a white serpent appeared...even though it didn't really qualify as a joke. Unfortunately, Eva Kaminsky and Veronica Taylor totally failed to capture any of the spirit of Naga's annoying laugh when they performed it in unison. I really miss Manison's spot-on portrayal now. I don't really understand all the tears dampening this thread about the plot not moving forward. Slayers has always had a fair fraction of one-off comedy episodes in every series. |

| I kinda liked this episode myself. Better than just the whole typical boring jar search for Rezo as always. Next episode though seem insanely lame. Only other times this season is somewhat good has been with Xellos. But that is to be expected. |
| I hated theat they used the song from slayers next25 of all songs. It doesnt match and I found it borderline offensive. |
